Sounds like a bunch of whiners are responding to this article

"Does everyone remember the last time we had a record number of foreclosures, skyrocketing consumer prices, and bank failures? Yep - It was when Bush Sr. was in office."

Good way to overlook what occurred during Clinton's time in office.

"I'm sick of the lies."

Except that it's your side that's telling them.

Does everyone remember the last time we had a record number of foreclosures, skyrocketing consumer prices, and bank failures? Yep - It was when Bush Sr. was in office.

Now we have McCain pushing the same economic policies that Bush and his "daddy" used which have already failed twice... Removing regulations from business and banking, then telling us the "Free Market" will fix everything if we just keep quiet and trust the corporations. Gee - If we're REALLY patient, maybe some of those corporate profits will eventually filter down to us "little guys" too! I'm sick of the lies.

We can't afford to continue the same economic plans that got us into this mess. It's time to get rid of these incompetent Republicans and move this country in a new direction.

Keep in mind that this mess happened while both presidential candidates were in Congress. Suggestion: vote against every incumbent, regardless of party. They have been derelict on their sworn public duty and should not be rewarded with a continued cushy income and full health care.

Idiots can perhaps keep convincing other idiots that raising taxes on the highest incomes (especially capital gains) "cannot be done in a weak economy", but average citizens had better "GET IT" sometime or other that for lack of those taxes, THEY are the ones paying for the unbalanced budget by the diminishment of their dollar's value.

Yes, Virginia-the-voter, the $4 gas you cannot now avoid is a surrogate tax YOU are now paying because (in part) you would not insist on an ill-advised Iraq war being PAID FOR IN REAL TIME BY SPECIAL TAXES ON THE HIGH END. Now they say "stay the course" on taxes and YOU give up your group healthcare plan.

Yes, that's next from the chorus of idiots singing to lesser idiots. Will you believe them? Do you like being duped (again)? Vote for every Democrat you can find.
