Can McCain Create a 'Grand New Party'?

I read Freiman's Conservative Outcomes and he predicts that the US will develop a third party in the next generation that will be a serious player in the politcs of the country. Freiman believes that a new party with a nationalist and common sense view point will gather up as many as 20% of registered voters and will be courted by the GOP and DNC to swing the vote.
