"Associated Press analysis-"Had [Saddam] remained in power, we would likely still believe he had WMD. He would have been sitting on an oil bonanza priced at $140 a barrel. He would almost certainly have broken free from an already crumbling sanctions regime. The U.S. would be faced with not one, but two, major adversaries in the Persian Gulf. Iraqis would be living under a regime that, in an average year, was at least as murderous as the sectarian violence that followed its collapse. And the U.S. would have seemed powerless to shape events."
This statement, should make people stand up and realize that 911 was a create event to united the american people to support a war in Afganistan and Iraq to re-shape the middle east and to control the flow oil.
Why did the Bush administration fought so hard to try to tie Saddam to 911?
So many questions: Here is just four
1. Where are the 4 black boxes of the 4 planes on 911?
2. Where are the videos of the plane hitting the pentagon? This is the most secure building in the world, cameras everywhere.

Reporter states thats there is no evidence of a plane hitting the pentagon. The official story ? A 757- Right!!!! No way The original damage to the outer wall, before it collasped is not consisent with the damage that would be caused by a 757 plane . Check out the demensions of a 757.
3 Why did WTC building 7 collaspe? Do to fire!!! Check out the

4. Why did the 911 commision ignored key witnesses who worked
at the WTC who witnessed explosions in the sub level
basements of the towers?
Search- review their accounts of that day, read the testimony of the firefighters who survived this horrible event.
Perhaps their testimony did not fit with their pre-determined outcome of their report. Remember we spent more money investigating a stain on a blue dress than we spent on the 911 investigation.
The cover up is immense, the stench is immense. I realize that for most that the thought of our government participating in carrying out this horrific event to its completion is un-imaginable for most people.(HI-LEVELS OF OUR GOVERNMENT) Power corrupts! Absolute power corrupts absolutely! Lets have a real investigation on 911, or is it in the words of Jack Nicholson, in the movie," A Few Good Men", as he states on the witness stand, " YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH "
America that should never be the case.

Quite an interesting article. I've never thought about it that way. Iraq is much more than some arbitrary lines on the map drawn by colonial powers, it is also home to the Tigris and Euphrates river valleys, the 'cradle of civilization'. I really do hope peace and democracy flourishes there not only because it could be a model for other countries in the region but also because of its long and distinguished history. It could someday be as popular a tourist destination as the Pyramids, the Coliseum, or Stonehenge.

First, the three trillion spent in Iraq matches the amount missing from the economy. Perhaps stockholders would not have lost seven trillion if Bush had not thrown three trillion away wastefully in a process that killed four thousand of our kids and a million Iraqis. The General might have won hearts and minds and allies instead of being a recruiting poster for terrorists. The endless war agenda and boundless fear touted by Bush and his puppet media would be looking for another target.The Bill of Rights might still be law. Levee maintenance, veterans' health care, education funds, the Superfund might still be available. The costs of this illegal war will haunt us for generations, as will violations of Geneva, Nuremburg, the Uniform Code of Military Justice, domestic spying, Enron, and tax breaks to oil companies. Oversimplifying, ala Candide, won't save your superficial rationalization.

Is this one example of rewriting history or a joke that was missed in April's fool?
WMDs in Iraq? Since we are in there, they have not been found. So guess what?
The rise of fuel price is not linked to the war in Iraq?
Terrorism from Iraq, also a theory completely debunked since 'we' took apart this country!
Playing the paranoia card when we are starting to realize how wrong everything has been going on??? I hope you are joking.
Why not ask questions like:
What was the ‘vp’’s energy conference about?
Why the objectives were not divulged to the public at the time?
(They still are not… Also, if I recall it well, the ENRON dishonest motley crew was part of that conference).
The beginning of the push to allow exploitation of oil in the US territory started BEFORE the war in Iraq…
So here is another bone to chew for the conspiracy theorists: Was the war in Iraq engineered to support the ailing US oil industry?
Paetrus responsible for the oil price going down or did this coincide with another bubble bursting after a wild speculation and rush on energy under the premise that ‘all will collapse once the war in Iraq gets really going’?

Let's be honest... we were sold the Iraq war. No other war in my life time has ever ended with the words Freedom. I think that this added agenda is where we made the mistake that has lead us into this financial crisis of grand magnitude. Don't get me wrong I believe everyone should have freedom, but throughout history, people raise up against their own Government to accomplish that type of mission. We shoved our ideals down their throats and expected them to shut up and take it. Answer this question first... If they invaded our country and tried to shove their ideals down our throat every American would raise up against them with whatever weapons we could find. So, to me we could have rapped this war up years ago kinda similar to the way we did when we were there before. That said, your argument is no longer valid.

The war in the Middle East was all a scam proliferated by the US government. The same government that created the 911 doomsday. Under Bush, the US has created a scared US citizen that allows the govt to do almost anything they want. They have used billions of US dollars to support the war effort, funneling mega dollars of profits back into Bushs' friends (oil company owners) pockets as a result. The only people that are benefiting from all this calamity are all connected to the Bush and Cheney family. When all this is over, he and his gang will be laughing all the way to the bank and the average American loses their house and family. What is it going to take for Americans to stand up to their corrupt govt, see the truth that is before them on the internet and DO something about it!
