In my last decade as a working American I am terrified of what will happen to me if Obama is elected. While I am trying to increase my earnings and sock it away for retirement, Obama will be busy taking it from me and giving it to people who don't pay any taxes! I already pay too much in taxes and he's going to take more. By the time I retire he will have this country in such a mess I'll need to take a post-retirement job to survive.
Don't be fooled by his crap about lowering taxes for 95% of the population. He is a liar of the worst type and he can't have his kingdom without taxing us all more. And he is preying on all the uniformed people of this country.
We should be afraid.... be very afraid.

Clearly Obama wants to redistribute something. I don't know any other way of reading this quote.
I understand that the top 1% of taxpayers pay someting like 39% of all income taxes. Isn't that enough? To me there is something ethically wrong about requiring such a small minority to pay so much.

Argentine President Cristina Kirchner announced this week that her government intends to nationalize the country's private pension system. If Congress approves this property grab, $30 billion in individually held retirement accounts -- think 401(k)s -- managed by private pension funds will become government property.
That the state could seize retirement savings no doubt seems outrageous to Americans. But it is a predictable development in a country where government intervention in the financial system is the norm. With Washington now expanding its role as guarantor in American banking, that's something to think about.
