I am hearing that it is not out of the question that superinvestor Warren Buffett would join a Barack Obama administration as treasury secretary. Buffett's economic philosophy as interpreted by Obama: "Let the market work, however way it's going to work, and then just tax the heck out of people at the end and just redistribute it. That way you're not impeding efficiency, and you're achieving equity on the back end."

Why would a man who made his billions in the market, espousing free enterprise, then place his support behind Obama who seems more inclined towards socialism...spread the wealth?

With treasury secretaries. I don't recall ever hearing Barack Obama saying what this author claims, but if Warren Buffet were given the authority to actually invest a portion of this country's money, his investing record beats the whatever word you want to insert here out of GWB's spend, baby, spend policy.
