One point lost during this presidential campaign is that Democrats want higher energy prices as part of their "green" agenda. Using that logic, they should be calling for higher taxes to prop up the price of oil. But analyst Pete Davis of the outstanding Capitol Gains and Games blog doesn't see that happening.

Mr. "of" is first again with a liberal comment. Global warming is a myth and the lefty "cure" hurts poor people via higher costs to commute to work and heat your home-not to mention the increased costs in other stuff like food. Just more unintended consequences from those who refuse to think and just follow the anti-capitalist, anti-business crowd.

Real "greens" want plenty of low-cost energy from the sun, the wind and hydrogen cars, not from planet-warming fires made with gas, oil and coal that simply blanket the earth in carbon dioxide.
