The past four quarters, the economy has grown at rates of -0.2 percent, 0.9 percent, 2.8 percent, and -0.3 percent. That equates to an annual rate of 0.8 percent. Slow growth and rising unemployment. I give you Economy: The EU Experience. At least Old Europe. Other than Ireland.

Do you mean medieval Europe? Last year, Germany's economy grew by 2.5% THis year it might be 'only' 1.2%.
