It seems like only today that we were voting in the 2008 election.

If Obama gets elected it will be proof of your proposition, for the voters will have forgotten how bad things became, the last time we elected a Democrat, who promised to raise taxes, during a recession ! 13% Mortgage rates, 18% inflation. I remember.
