Betting Markets Give McCain a 10 Percent Shot

The political junkies over at Intrade give Obama a 91.7 percent chance of getting elected. So it may seem like McCain has no chance ... except that the betting markets went heavily for Kerry four years ago based on the bad exit polls. But, interestingly, the betting markets turned around as the day wore on and showed a Bush victory even as the TV pundits kept talking about a Kerry win.

Larry of Ca, let's keep going.

Obama's radical abortion policy is basically infanticide, and the Freedom of Choice Act would remove almost all existing federal and state restrictions on abortion.

Obama's radical philosophy on the Constitution is to "break loose" from it to redistribute wealth.

Obama wants to radically slash defense spending in this dangerous world, and demoralize the military by leaving Iraq in defeat and trying to allow gays to serve openly.

Democrats are discussing the radical plan to transfer 401K's and IRA's into government accounts.

Obama is against free trade agreements that open up foreign markets to American products.

Obama wants to restrict free speech by bringing back the Fairness Doctrine and shutting down talk radio (and he threw reporters from papers that endorsed McCain off his plane).

In every area, Obama's policies and ideas are radical and wrong.

Since you are so sure that the betting markets are off, here is your chance. Buy McCain now, and make a huge profit.
