I know - audacious prediction. But here on the ground, the weather is rainy (which is bad weather in CA) and the Obama supporters are complacent. Many see the market rise today and watch the media anticipation of Obama winning and they aren't bothering to vote. Meanwhile, prop 8 has the social conservatives in a "vote or die" posture. It is a 20% gap to make up, but Obama has probably over polled here too.

In 2000 many didn't vote when Gore was declared winner in Florida at 5pm local time. If it happens again, only one place to put the blame - overzealous media prematurely celebrating.

Hi Diane,

Your reply basically makes my point.

"left's hatred".. This part absolutely underscores it. It's that sort of self-righteousness and demonization that is dividing Christians.

No more arguing from me. I wish you the best. God Bless.

B.O. America does not wholeheartedly support you because YOU don't support her...not her babies, her mothers, not her soldiers, nor her ideals. Frankly, we are extremely grateful to John McCain for making his platform "Country First".

I hope he puts you to shame, which is exactly where you belong...with the WUO THUGS that are your best friends, who should have gone to prison a long time ago for murder. All the sweet talkin' in the world will not turn you into an honest man of integrity, B.O.; and that is what Americans are looking for! I've got a clue for you: Not all Americans are looking for more money!!! Some of us actually DO CARE whether your friends and your ideals are waaaay out there on the Left. And some of us actually DO CARE whether or not your first act, should you win office, would be to guarantee the murder and mostly unregulated experimentation on MILLIONS OF AMERICANS (babies)!

Had you run on a ticket with more integrity, even I would have voted for you, BO. However,

integrity and American values are much more important than you think to the majority of us out here. I pray your underhanded ACORN tactics to try to steal the election will fall hard upon your unscruplous head!! And what was the deal with having your supporters throw ACID and CHLORINE in the faces of the elderly RNC delegates???? Again, it sounds like you love THUGS, BO, and that is why many Americans are praying for a McCain victory!!!

Thanks, John McCain for making the choice so clear for us!! You and Sarah have taken beating after beating in the media, but you've remained steady and true to America and her future. We pray God will Bless You tonight and every night for the next 4 years and beyond, as you stand for Truth!

Just how can a non-American citizen become President of the United States like Barack Obama!! His real name by the way is Barry Soetero!! Just how, this is the question that's very disturbing! Barack who?

Need a leader as President and that is John McCain!! John is a true maverick and cares about everyday citizens! God help us if Barack is elected tonight!

The comments here are the mirror image of the extreme left in 2004. Desparate, self-righteous, clinging to any hope they find, completely at a loss how they could loose, convinced "their" America would never do such thing.

Doesn't bode well for the Repubs who are making the same mistake, determined things are black and white when they are, as usual, grey.

I really wish I could vote and give my contribute. Too bad I'm not american. Hope to wake up and fine good news tomorrow. I really think McCain is the best candidate, he could do great things for America, and other countries too. Because everyone should remember US president is first off the President of USA, but secondly he's the fate of the rest of the world in his hands. And Obama is too young for that, I'm sorry. He's not bad at all, but I think he's just too young for this kind of responsibility.

I was going to vote for McCain until he chose Palin...what an absolute joke.

The PUMA vote and the Reagan Democrats rejecting Obama will be keys. Add to that illegal money and the effort to buy the election, bitter clinger talk, and the coal gaffe.

Housewife-No.

Bitter-No.

PUMA-Yes.

Voted McCain/Palin-Yes.

....are pretty apparent from his 2 "YouTube moments" [the gutting of the military promise & the 2001 interview about redistributive change]. Neither of these should qualify as changes that most Americans would want, regardless of the amount of emnity towards GWB.

I hope that thinking Americans have somehow heard or been exposed to these beliefs in Obama's own speech & that they will vote accordingly today.
