Andrew Samwick Joins the One Term Club

Over at Capital Gains and Games, economist Andrew Samwick raises a number of interesting political questions. Among them is this one: "What happens if all the new voters from 2008 are unemployed in 2010 and 2012? I am guessing they will want change again. Obama has a tough road ahead of him."

Of course, that is exactly what I have been saying. Obama has been handed a poisoned chalice, expect he already knew it tasted funny.

...on how long Obama can get away with blaming it on Bush. It's already not true-the current meltdown is AT LEAST as much the fault of Democrats-if not more so. The housing bubble is a result of liberal "affordable housing" fantasy made policy. The other question is: does Obama really believe it's Bush's fault, or was he just saying what challengers ALWAYS say about incumbents?
