Ed Morrissey of Hot Air reports on a Jim DeMint conference call: "Bad news: DeMint believes that Arlen Specter will not back a filibuster against Card Check.  That means that Republicans can afford no other defectors on that issue and that Norm Coleman has to hold his seat in Minnesota."

Card check would never have been needed if the NLRB and private labor lawyers paid millions had not been such an obstacle in the years since Reagan.

Now, card check is overdue, and yes, even in light of the problems of the (used-to-be) "Big" 3 automakers.
