Ron Paul: Social Security is a Ponzi Scheme

The Hamiltonian "blank check" view of Article 1, Section 8, of the US Constitution has won out, unfortunately. Giving politicians unlimited resources and a blank check, with only the vague notion of "general welfare", is a recipe made in hell... or rather one that is sending us to fiscal hell, anyway.

So... how has that blank check mentality worked out for us so far? $15 trillion in debt; trillion + deficits annually; and an entitlement spend that is almost equal to all tax $$ collected, annually, with a growth that will push us over 100% tax revenues, forcing us to borrow more just for entitlements, while funding the rest of the government on borrowed money, as well. How much is our annual spend on INTEREST ONLY (on our debt) going to increase, leaving even less revenues to fund government going forward?

Thanks, FDR. What a legacy you left us with. What a great example of good intentions paving the way to Hell. The entire camel is in the tent, now.

If it isnt a scheme then why is it forced? why shouldnt a person have a choice to opt out of paying into social security & invest their money themselves? If I invest in social security ponzi scheme for say 30 years....do I get payed back the loss of value of my money from the inflationary policies of the federal reserve banking scheme? No. I am forced to "invest" my money in a "trust" account. Over the years of me paying I will lose the purchasing value of my money because of inflation. Anyone who does not believe that a person should be allowed to opt out of the social security ponzi scheme that they pay thier hard earned money into in hopes to invest their money the way they see fit-needs to have their head examined. The funds have been robbed. Why would you EVER trust politicians with your money. You would be better off investing your own money than giving it to the politicians who will rob it now & blame somone else later down the road. Kick the can down the road, give the burdens to your children & grandchildren. Free people should have a choice as to what to do with thier money. Government force is used in a totalitarian society & its stated purpose is ALWAYS for the benefit of the people. As history reveals, nothing could be further from the truth.

Social Security is and always has been either a "pay-as-you-go" system or one that was partially advance-funded. Its structure, logic, and mode of operation have nothing in common with Ponzi schemes or chain letters or pyramid schemes.

The first modern social insurance program began in Germany in 1889 and has been in continuous operation for more than 100 years. The American Social Security system has been in continuous successful operation since 1935. Charles Ponzi's scheme lasted barely 200 days.

SSucker: An American citizen conscript, of the United States Government, who is compelled as a tax slave to 'invest' under penalty of law in the federal Social Security and Medicare Ponzi schemes.

Such a citizen must gamble in the fraudulent SS-Ponzi and MC-Ponzi schemes (games), or face incarceration in federal prison.

Any such scheme is normally and usually the results of criminal enterprise; except when administrated by the federal government.

Both SS-Ponzi and MC-Ponzi shall ultimately collapse and defraud those who ‘invest’ (gamble) in such schemes (games).

But if a citizen’s religion despises gambling, Uncle Sam ignores Freedom of Religion and uses legal coercion to force participation.

Some day in the future (as usual), we will all look back at what Ron Paul said about Social Security and just about everything else and say, "That guy was right and he was our only real hope!"

All the people who voted for McCain only to watch him lose so miserably will say, "I should have voted my conscience and voted for Ron Paul! We knew that he had it figured out and that we would regret our choices in the future."

All the people who voted for Obama are going to regret their vote too when they find out that their messiah is not all that they thought he would be, and that more government is not the answer.

It never fails; some of us have enough sense to see through the BIG LIE, while the majority make the same mistake over and over again. The economy can not be fixed by spending more money that we don't even have! The same is true about Social Security, as Ron Paul has stated for the last 30 years.

The only real solution to our economic woes is not an option anymore. The only real solution was Ron Paul!!

Older American people have voted and allowed ignorant and greed politicians to rule this country. They were deceived and failed to think and research. Therefore they should pay

by losing their SS / Ponzi scheme fund.

My father is 83 and still does enough work to support himself because he is educated and has skills/intelligence. He is in great shape because he works instead of sitting watching TV getting fat and overwhelming our Medical services giant.

I have always felt that social security money should have been used for funding home loans and kept seperate from general funding, the system could still be fixed if used in this manner.

t of all; If congress paid off the money taken from S.S. to balance the budget o Bill Clinton last term we would not be in this fix!

Secondly, baby boomers have paid over 1,4 trillion dollars into this fund, We paid for us and all the elderly that have collected!

So , have congress make it up the difference!

As usual, RP is not afraid to speak the truth. He is beholden to no one except the Constitution. Our only lawmaker w/ genuine good character. It was absolutely disgusting the way he was mocked and belittled during the presidential primaries, not to mention the media censors. Now, lately, the media is finally embracing him. Hopefully it's not too late. He's the only politician in Washington who actually cares about saving this country and the only one that knows how to do it!
