Pelosi is nothing more than a political hack more interested in leftist special interest groups.

How terrifying! How dare she speak these words, it shows the contempt that she really has for the great unwashed masses that she claims to represent. What is next, taxpayer funded abortion on demand, at any point in the term of the pregnancy, based on annual income!!

Where would Barack Obama be if is unwed mother, who became pregnant with a fellow student who was a black man from Africa had subscribed to the current theory of death to unplanned children. It really is a strange world!!

The same people railing against abortion and family planning are the same people who do not want their tax dollars going to social programs to support these children who are born into unfortunate circumstances. Make up your mind. If you do not support a woman's right to choose, then you should be the first to pony up the money to help raise these children.

"Population growth is a major source of economic growth: more people create more demand for the products capitalists sell, and more supply of the labor capitalists buy."

Almost Phil, almost. This should make sense but remember the average American is holding something like $8K in credit card debt alone. Not to mention other debt as well. Bottom line: more people equal more debt.

Not until this country learns to actually PAY for what it buys will we see that more people are equal to more GDP. We are living proof of this right now. Welcome to the future.

Please tell me this is a joke. I'm in favor of a stimulus package. I admit to being rather liberal (more moderate than liberal, but liberal tendencies nevertheless). But contraceptives as part of this is clearly inappropriate. It really hurts the credibility of the stimulus package concept.

The reason why I can no longer call myself a progressive or liberal which I considered myself with pride is because I began to study history. Socialism always ends the same way, and always begins the same way. Mass death, I would encourage people to look into Margret Sanger the founder of planned parenthood ---> "The most merciful thing that a large family does to one of its infant members is to kill it."

The answer to poverty was and still is, to kill the poor, for starters. Malthus was wrong, and still is- populations are not exploding they are moving mostly because people are being forced off their land and taxed into the stoneage. National Socialism eliminated 11 million poor unfortunates. I am from chicago, I am african american, and i am trying to warn people that this is all a fraud, obama and his new green religion will make the popes look like kindergardeners and if you oppose it you will be crushed.

there is a movie called "endgame" it may help explain what I am trying to say. There are no democrats, there are no republicans, its a dialectic we are being conned, if we are lucky we will get one child policies, that came down from the UN.

Thesis --------------><---- Anthisis [Synthesis]

{conservatives --><---liberals}

(new system/new thesis|conservative) Plato's cave remains

Blago is nothing, he runs nothing, he is a diversion, he is trivia, we are not a democracy [mob rule] we are a democracy [rule by law] get the federalist papers, look up codex alimentarius which will take all the nutrition out of our food, we are in very bad shape, i live on the south side, this man used our city, our community to give him a history just like conneticut born bush did to texas.

This is only the beginning.

No matter what anybody says one thing is true. Let me quote Ben Franklin when he stated in Poor Richards Almanac that "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure." The earth cannon sustain all of the people we are putting on it with our current technology. If we keep burdening the planet with so many carbon emitters all economies will be damaged far more than we can imagine. If we make contraception an international program we can save the planet for the next generations instead of being the last to see it as it's meant to be.

thank god someone has the courage to state the obvious - we cannot continue to support the illegal population that breed like rabbits - the last thing we need is more low income,low education, social moochers in our food chain

Is it just me, or is Nancy Pelosi actually Ebenezer Scrooge? ``If they would rather die,'' said Scrooge, ``they had better do it, and decrease the surplus population." Scrooge was referring to the poor who would rather die than be placed in the work houses or prisons.

Since 1973, 50 million babies have been legally murdered under the guise of the freedom to choose to kill the baby in the womb. I would be interested to learn of the economic impact of the legal murder of some 50 million American Babies. Think about this: 50 million less children in the classrooms, 50 million less children graduating from college and moving into corporate America, 50 million less people contributing to Social Security, health care plans,or to the well-being of our nation as a whole. Could the Federal Government conduct an analysis or study as to the economic impact of Roe vs. Wade. After all, Mr. Obama was elected due to current economic conditions, the recession. If we as a nation, fail to protect the most volnerable amoungst us, I suggest all issues debated at electon time are null and void of purpose. It is time to perform an abortion on the Roe vs. Wade Supreme Court Decision. In addition, FOCA MUST BE STOPPED!! The future of this nation depends on this.
