I wanted Michael for pres instead of Obama. I wanted him for RNC. But....After his comment about Limbaugh, my opinion of him for the conservative movement...HAS GONE WAY WAY DOWN. BAD BAD MOVE !!!!!

Please get this to Michael Steele

If I could get someone to listen to me we could create the right image for the Republican Party based on historical facts.

I am serious and I do have a proven history, and I am black Thank you

I am happy he has been elected as RNC - I admire and respect his views as a true conservative. we need someone who is enthusiastic about this position, to inspire Republicans to continue the fight for our beliefs for country, home and family, and for a prosperous, not changed, America.

I am very very pleased that Michael WON the election as RNC chair . At least he earned his victory . He has been a strong , articulate CONSERVATIVE ...appearing often on FOX News . He states his position FIRMLY but with no name calling as his opponents (Colmes , Beckel & Powers ) Love to see Alan feebily take on Michael . I almost feel sorry ( but not quite ) for Alan . I love to see Michael & Sean ...they are an awesome pair who speak volumes of what we conservatives feel .

Michael Steele is a consistent conservative ...with the posture of a man who votes his core beliefs ...and is not afraid to defend those beliefs . As for his physical demeanor ....I mostly seeing him sitting at the FOX desk . But when he makes a point with those long long fingers I know he must be tall.

Michael Steele's "strength" seems to be his best inner quality .

He certainly will not be a wimp or a reach across the aile "suck up". GO GET EM MICHAEL ....

Too bad, some people can't get past color,This is a man of principle who will be doing a lot of rebuilding in the Republican party, in helping it find the way back to the win column. All you have to do is ask {WHY DID OBAMA WIN?} The answer is as simple as the person who said Mr. Steele was picked because he is black, the answer instaed is because Republicans lost their way. Judging from the past 12 days Democrats look like the gang that can't shoot straight, and have embarked on a culture of corruption far more worthy of media coverage than the adulation they prefer showering on Mr. Obama, while he wrestles with comments made by famous talk show hosts.

I am very happy with the election. Michael has been auditioning for the job on talk radio and cable news. If he produces with the same enthusiasm as he talks, it will be a great selection.

Wrong! Michael Steele has been a highly respected member of the Grand Old Party for years. Just because you've never heard of him doesn't mean diddly. How many people had ever heard of Barack Hussein Obama before he bought the election?

Susie of NC 5:08PM January 31, 2009

He DOESN'T have the "weight of the world on his shoulders". Obama has inherited the weight of the world, and Steele is a tall black copycat bit player never heard of at the RNC until a mere 168 Republican party hacks suddenly elected him for being tall and black. Whooda thunk it?
