Tim you are a moron. Let's destroy the capitalistic system that has created the most prosperous nation even imagined. I bet you libtards would love it if everyone in this country was destitute and everything was on a 'level playing field' and 'fair'. Those things called liberty and pursuit of happiness are overrated anyways. What the hell are you talking about when you say shared sacrifice?? Do you think that the so called rich people just woke up one day with millions of dollars in their bank account? You don't think that they had to make sacrifices and develop marketable talents or create a good or service that people were willing to buy to become successful? Who do you think creates jobs and in turn creates wealth for other people? Who do you think pays more than their fair share of taxes in this country? It's morons like you who should got off your free-loading ass and get a damn job and be a productive member of society. MORON

Magician is quite right. Google Brzezinski and "Trilateral Commission" or "Council on Foreign Relations."

Zbig understands the danger of having millions of people out of work and becoming destitute. When the economic hardships become more widespread, people are not going to let the rich pretend that there is nothing wrong with the system. If there is no shared sacrifice among the rich people of this nation then the rich will be sacrificed whether they like it or not.

Without economic growth this country is ungovernable. The prospects for continued economic growth look greatly diminished due to peak-oil, overpopulation, resource scarcity and the collapse of financial capitalism. President Obama and the political elite better start coming up with a new politics (economics) based on resource scarcity and ecological morality. The economic growth game is over We are in more trouble than we can possibly imagine. Zbig is worried and you should be too.

Brzezinski is more afraid for himself and his buddies than he is about anyone else. If the readers would spend some time investigating his background, they will see that he has only his own self interests at heart. Already the govt has been putting up FEMA sponsored detention camps throughout the US as well as coffins have been seen by people who just so happen to have video cameras. All you have to do is go onto YouTube and see the pictures..and if you don't believe it when it happens...you can never say that you were not warned. The gov't knows something we don't...

1. Voluntary Fund...Brezinski, are you kidding me? How about the FBI raid all of the oversea accounts of these "financial services" mutlinational banks and consoritums and return to the USA and USA investors their money! And criminal trials by jury for the

'white collar' thieves and plunderers involved, including the lawyers!

2. Perhaps Brezinski's fear should stay with him and he should permanently leave the USA. Afterall, he, Carter, and Casey trained covertly the Muhjahadin to chase the USSR out of Afghanistan...who are now killing USA troops including National Guard and Army Reserve in both Iraq and Afghanistan with USA weapons and IEDs made with British components.

3. Advisors to Obama like Brezinski are helping to tighten the Police State in the USA. Time for he and his family to return to Poland and help that nation he so dearly loved as a member of the elite monied class.

They tax all of us! Then they say the rich dont give enough! The rich want a return (ie. Improved social order) on their investment (ie. taxes), that's how we all judge an investment on any level! Give tax breaks is right. Then they can start their own charity and monitor its return. We act like the rich have not been giving, when they have. I had help with the birth of my children. And we have blossomed into a wonderful family if I may say so myself. I thank God for the rich!!! Thank you to all of my country men-women! But if we just kept having kids while sitting on the couch watching OPRAH! The return would not be justified! And how could I not expect my country men-women not to feel hoodwinked. Tell the rich not to run, Some poor folk still love them!

I agree with the previous comment regarding your stunningly idiotic prescription of tax cuts. Dr Z's point was that the class divide has increased to levels matching those seen during the late 1920's and that public discontent will grow as jobs are lost. A huge shift in wealth occurred during the great depression and new deal era out of which the middle class as we know if today was created. This creation of the middle class is the basis upon which industry, innovation, and education has been built on over the last 60 years.

If we get through this new Depression with an even greater disparity between rich and poor and a greater weakening of the middle class, you can be sure that the nation will less prepared for the challenges it will face in the 21 century.

The effect of tax cuts decreases as the average income becomes smaller and smaller. As big as it sounds, even a MASSIVE 50% tax cut from a nominal rate of 25% to 12% only equates to an extra $80 each pay check to a person making 34,000 a year.

You're wrong if you think tax cuts could get us out of this mess. It it was the case, we should have never found ourselves in this precarious situation given the fact the largest tax cuts in history have been issued out over the last 9 years.

How about the rich start paying attention to who they're screwing over, or they'll be forced to pay attention. That's basically what Brzezinski is saying. Bankers are not a friend of America these days. They are more akin to terrorists.
