It would not matter who the President is. This does not come from Obama, it came from the puppet masters themselves. His hands are tied, and he also knew what he was walking into. If McCain were president, the same thing would be happening. I guarantee it, just a different brand of rhetoric.

Sean Hannity was correct about this character. He is a dictator. It's so sad that we have men and women that don't have enough character and intestional fortitude to stand up to Pelosi. All it took for the 'nut' from Oklahoma to change his vote was an Obama grin and a ride on Air Force One and the so call meeting with the Obama staged event with his hand picked people shouting "sign the bill". How dumb can you be? Obama is a liar,he has more synonyms for the word lie. He is dishonest and cannot be trusted. These congressmen and senators are suspose to represent us. The citizens have expressed themselves-yet they do not represent us. We have a welfare government-what ever happened to honest work? I am a retired teacher of 48 years. The worst thing that ever happened to our school system was government intervention. Just imagine what all the government will run after these dishonest and sneaky people get out of office. There is no excuse today why people can't get an education, get a job, and provide for themselves. I am tired of hearing the 'poor people'---Obama talks like everyone should go to college. Not everyone needs to go to college and it does not mean that they are not smart. Some of the smartest people that I know and taught are the dumbest people I know. The media talks
about how smart Obama is, well there are people in prison that are just that smart (dishonest, theives, sneaky).
AND people thought Nixon was a crook! What he did is minor compared to these Chicago politics! There has been nothing but dirty,dirty politics since this guy became president in a dishonest election.In reference to being the 'poor people'. I can write about how poor my family was when I was growing up when my father made $40.00 a week with six children, one with celebral palsy. We would have qualified for free lunches but my dad would have 'died' if he thought we would take free anything. My mother packed 5 brown bags with peanut butter and banana sandwiches every morning. My dad said "I brought these children into the world and I will take care of them". When we went on a class field trip, we saved our money all year to pay for it, not free. WE were taught that we would go to college somehow and five of us did,we borrowed money, paid it back, worked, and earned a scholarship,the gov. didn't owe me an education. I chose to teach for to provide for my family, educate my sons the same way I got my education. I chose to save and spend wisely for my future. It is a choice that each has to make. Our government is an enabler to these people who get everything free and expect everything free. If they got an education, and had to provide for themselves there would be less crime because they would have to work to pay for that baby food, that doctor bill, that mortgage, and wouldn't have time to get in trouble. Some of the happiest people work hard, provide for their families, and are 'poor'. CHARACTER!!

If you want to get your point across, you might try correct spelling, capitalization and punctuation. Otherwise, people might get the idea that you are an idiot and no matter how valid a point might be, it is ultimately dismissed because you clearly indentify yourself as a dolt. You are exactly the type of person that I DON'T want representing me and my beliefs. Nice job.

Obama is no more a socialist then you are. But the corporations that own our media know its cheaper to brainwash the stupid americans , than it is to make a change to the industries that are already in place. I know it sounds cool , Obama is a socialist but it makes you sound pretty ignorant. you are being bamboozled. please learn more about what you are saying before you brodcast opinions . That entire post is based on the assumption that people will just continue to pay what they are currently paying also there are technologies out there that might help in this endevor in Scientific American it was higlighted that we could have a near completely sustainable energy grid by 2030. And maybe just maybe we Americans learn to be energy savvy. This is not going to be easy and this has the potential to threaten everybody on the planet.

It boggles the mind that Americans would rather go to war over oil than to support cap and trade! And you can flap your lips all day long because if Iraq did not have oil, we would not be there! According to economist that if the Iraq war ended today American tax payers are in debt to the tune of trillions for this war which george bush fed us thru lies deceit and manipulation of information.

The last ten of the fifteen years that I have spent in the airline industry have been one roller coaster ride after another.9/11, SARS, Wild surges in oil pricing,the recession, it has been one body blow after another.
Every time the industry survives one crisis, we get pounced on by another one.
This cap and trade idea is a sham, much like the "Carbon Credits" idea Gore has been peddling the past few years.
Yes, lets put tens of thousands of more airline employees out of work.
