Who Really Won, Obama or McCain?

President Obama seems to be undergoing a strange metamorphosis. He's slowly turning into John McCain.

1) Last Thursday, Obama told a group of CEOs he would consider cutting corporate taxes. Candidate McCain was for a corporate tax cut.

2) On Friday, Obama seemed to channel McCain's famous campaign quote that "the fundamentals of the economy are sound." The exact Obama statement: "If we are keeping focused on all the fundamentally sound aspects of our economy, all the outstanding companies, workers, all the innovation, and dynamism in this country, then we're going to get through this."

3) Today the New York Times reports that Obama would be open to taxing employee healthcare benefits to help pay for healthcare reform. McCain proposed the same thing, along with a tax credit to assist workers in purchasing their own health insurance.

Can a capital gains tax cut be far behind?

hey TRISTAN...pay no mind to the idiot who made point of your spelling.. he or she probably says axe instead of >>ASK LOL....I agree with you... let these lazy low lifes pay thier own way im sick of supporting them too..Obama wont last 4 yrs anyway.. hopefully will be impeached..anyone would have been better then him..

He is taking all our taxes for pore people so basicly he is giving pore places to live with are tax money.
"pore" people??? Do these folks have some hideous disorder that enlarges their "pores"? Or did you mean "POOR" people? So "basicly" he is giving "pore" places to live with "are" tax money?
Do you work? HOW have your bosses not found out that you are illiterate?
Now, in response to the meaning behind your horribly misspelled words.... You obviously have no knowledge of Mr. Obama or his tax cuts or plans. And I am quite certain that you don't care.
President Obama studied economics at Harvard Law where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a doctorate. And by the way, He is not a socialist.
Paul Krugman, 2008 Nobel Prize winner in economics, recently wrote an article about Obama's plan. His only problem with it seemed to be that Obama didn't spend enough money on the stimulus package and that he would have set it up as 800 million a year for at least 2 years.
Please educate yourself on the facts and stop parroting things that you do not understand.
