It isn't just the President, although he is the biggest player.

I've written, called, and emailed my representatives more in the last 6 months than in my whole life...DO IT !

My representatives know I'm Watching !

All the idiots that voted for Obama and the Dems will get the life they deserve. Higher gas, higher heating costs, higher food costs, higher everything - except of course our standard of living that will just go down the toilet (Maybe there will be a toilet tax as well). BUT HEY isn't that what you wanted. To bring everyone down so there would be a level playing field.

Just remember that those on the bottom will alway be on the bottom because they are expecting someone from the top to give them hand outs. All you stupid 18-28 year old who voted for Obama guess what - good luck on getting a private sector job and your younger siblings will never be able to afford a house at 20% interest rates. Oh and that nice house or business or cash that you think you will inherit from you parents - you won't get it - nope it will go to pay for someone's 10 kids who spent their life on welfare and crack.

It's not about emissions.

It's about world government, money and for government to grow.

CAP and TRADE(TAX) lowers the standard of living and increase the price of EVERYTHING.

It's just more out of control massive government.

It's an enormous federal ENRON on steroids.

First of all, it's difficult to weigh in with any logical conclusion on cutting greenhouse emissions when the concept of climate change hasn't even been resolved yet. Next, even if we could scientifically prove that these emissions are causing an unproven theory, using an extreme soution such as cap and trade would be like a doctor prescribing medication without a diagnosis. In my mind, this climate change "crap" is more alarmist thinking like the asteroid hitting the earth theory, or perhaps the Y2K hysteria, how about the machines taking over the world story? I could go on and on. Democrats, alarmists, and even the UN have a strategy- let us help you.....save you from yourself! This is insanity!!!

Cap This!

It would appear that the Obama Change is to first convince the public that there will be no more new taxes. Then issue the tax through everything we need to buy relating to energy. This is Change alright, we used to know how we were being ripped off with our income tax, property tax, county, state, auto, phone, cable, school and the sales tax. It may not be called a tax, but will take what money we now have left and push it into our every day living expence. I am all for renewable energy, wind solar and the like but there has to be a better way to get those off the ground floor without taking the ground floor from under our own feet.

What mechanism do you propose to cut greenhouse emissions?

It takes about 60 seconds to write your congressman. Let your voice

be heard!

The worst part of this mess is that we've done a successful cap and trade program already - one designed to reduce acid rain. Companies were able to comply with the program for millions of dollars less than expected and it has had noticeable positive benefits for the health of US citizens. If we can build that system intelligently, why on earth does the current proposed cap and trade program feel like it written in the back room of a hash-den.

And if the environment is so important, why is President Obama constantly driving around for town halls and such? I understand the President has some duties and events he should go to, but he needs to stop running for re-election and start actually taking the time to run the country.

he has risen well above his level of incompitance

That is going to kill jobs and make America weaken.

This guy is an empty suit and has zero leadership.

I guess doing The Tonight Show and townhall meetings is more his cup of tea, to hell with running this country.

I think he just likes to fly around on Air Force One and spend the taxpayers money.
