I love my magic jack! It's the answer to my economic prayers. When considering phone services, I did not want to enter into a 1-2 yr.contract with a cellular company, nor continue paying high fees through our local phone company.

Owning a magic jack is like having 11 months of free phone service, minus the initial purchase. Wow! Give yourself a break and keep your money in your pocket!

Thank you magic jack creator! Oh yeah, the hook up was so-o-o easy!

I was thinking about buying Magic Jack but I've never heard anyone say anything bad about it until the lady mentioned when she had a power failure, her Magic Jack quit working on her. We have our fair share of power outages, so now I don't know whether to buy it or not.

My magic Jack worked beautifully until the electricity went off one night & it hasn't worked since. My computer has a surge protector on it ,so it wasn't a surge that caused it. What can I do? Thanks, Geneva

Yes, I am a Packet 8 (voip) customer paying 30 dollars a month for frr long distance. But I have the same question. Can I keep the same phone number that I am using now. I guess I'll have to call Magic Jacks customer service to find out. If anyone knows in the mean time, please respond on here.

Thanks

Linda

Can we keep the phone number we already have or do we need to get a new number. And what happens to all the local and federal taxes we have to pay our old phone company?

Thanks
