T-Mobile Offers Cheap Internet Calls at Home

I've tried their product and I had to returned it the same day I received it.

Had the problem of receiving call as well as setting up voicemail. Try to called my assigned number from Magicjack, and never work not even the voicemail prompt. There is no land line number to call, no 800 numbers not any phone number (very fishy about this company. What kind of phone company that doesn't have a contact number to call?)

Anyway stay away from Magicjack, their customer support virtually never exist. Try to click on the chat in their web-site, it brings you in the loop of the same page.

I would like to see you offer a trial period at least of 30 days to

verify whether the system works or not for everyone, before compromising to a one year contract. I understand the pressure wil

be felt by the larger phone companies that have milked the consumer

way too long.

Thanks.

I am not sure I'd use magicjack with such bad grammar. I'd be afraid.

Go with the tmobiel network. The VOIP clarity is unbelievable.

I run networks for Tmobiel or used to when they were Aerial then Vociestream.

VOIP has been around for awhile but the technology has gotten so much better. As with all these types of networks, the only concern would be the routing of the 911 calls. Since they dont go directly into at Central Office they can take awhile to get routed to the proper authorities or ermergency services.

Other than that, the ability to make a call from your house use the VOIp connection unlimited through WIFi then leave your house, hand off to a cregular cell network and use the regular plan minutes, the calsl are virtually transition friendly and no drop of the call. The dual phone (WIFI and Mobiel and the router are the real cost.) but worth the investment. Its fairly easy to install even if you arent a Net Eng.

The cost of just a line into the house and taxes, all the other crap they throw in disturbs me. Im sick of paying the tarrifs etc. I only need a house phone rarely anyways so why not go cheap as long as i can still make calls on the regular cell network if my wifi goes down or gets cut etc. Living in Florida its nice to have both in case of power outages, hurricanes, etc. And you dont need a PC just a dedicated WIFI.

Im in so far. Ill let you know if anything else changes.

Yes, not sure what the invention is. The company in Taiwan designs and builds the jack. Anyone can buy it. They put a softclient on it, and now it is an invention? Plenty of folks have soft-clients on USB-sticks. The only difference here is the $1.60 per month for unlimited usage. Again, that makes no sense. They are either cheating the rest of the telecom industry of their revenue by routing calls over the Internet and being a CLEC to bypass other charges, or they can't do basic math. Sounds like someone was asleep during the dot com bubble, because they are waking up now and thinking, "hey I can offer a product at a huge loss and just get millions of customers. Then go public and cash out." Hmm. Maybe even create fake corporations to hide the losses as revenue..

Unlike Magic Jack, with T-Mobile as i understand it..does not require a computer to function. This product may be better for alarm customers that are concerned about having lines cut (including their LAN). It could be a more secure backup phone line. I will be testing this application, since the cost is low enough and i already use T-Mobile. Normal RF backup for security cost 500-1000 bucks abd at least 10 bucks a month.

Hmm makes sense. If the big boys are having troubles making money at 24.00 or even more, how is another company making money at 1.60.

Enron, Adelphia, and add Magicjack to that list of companies that like to lie about their financials.

Definitely wouldn't go with them. Plus, who cares if you are the "inventor". Every time I google or read something about this company, all I see is "The Inventor". When you google who makes the device, you find out its some Taiwan company. Great job being the Inventor! What lies!
