There was complaints when Windows 95 came out. There was complaints when windows Xp came out, and there will be complaints when the next comes out. Sure Vista has got problems. they all did at first. But when you get vista your not getting a finnished product. your getting a subscription to a product that will eventually by a finnished product. just like it has allways been.

the results are clear, gates is a freaking moron in many peoples opinion.

There's still lots of older machines out there with valid xp platforms. I'd consider picking on up and the junk yard, and grabbing the key codes from it for a new re-install :)

just a thought.

Wow! XP is gone, and Vista should go too! But, thankfully

I have already bought a Macbook Pro, and am very very happy!

It even works, without any problems, and does not crash,

and is easy to back up, and a piece of cake to use, and cost me

about $100 Aus more than the comparable DELL Laptop, which,

I might add, does not look as nice!

Good luck to old Billy Goates, hope he will stop buying Apple shares

though, I hate monopolies, he would kill Apple if he had control

I removed my Vista hard drive and put in a new, clean drive and installed XP on it. Works like a charm.

I do no think windows vista is good as windows xp. I red that windows vista is not very stable like windows XP or NT.

If it comes to vista or nothing I will live without computing. There is no choice really linux doesnt have anywhere near the functionality and simplicity and MAC's are more expensive. Microsoft knows this and their continuing.

Noting like sending technology back 40 years especially when the standard becomes far too expensive for the majority of the market.

I dont think microsoft can force any company or contractor to buy or support anything. If they do they will find themselves out of a customer. If this means the chip manufacturers than MS could lose alot of buisness. Hopefully theres enough financhal cost for MS to relent

I think your right Mike, looks like MAC may be the only viable way to go!

I recently got a Vista machine for my wife and I can't stand using the thing. When my XP systems are all but dead I'll buy MACs.

I won't be "forced" to go with Vista - I will now look into changing all the PC's in our offices to MAC. I think this was a very poor business decision on the part of Microsoft. A real dumb move!
