SanDisk SlotMusic Bows at a Disappointing $15

SanDisk has launched its slotMusic tunes on a chip. The 1GB cards come preloaded with an album and extras in what I think is an intriguing offer to fill underused music players on phones.

But the suggested price of $15 could strangle the new medium.

SanDisk points out that the memory card can be reused once the music is copied over. Each card comes with a small USB adapter that alone is worth $10.

Still, it's about the music, and that's too much for MP3 tunes.

FYI.....Plaxico Burress The NFL Footbal Player Begins Prison Sentence Today!

Not that I have anything against the guy but finally these athletes might start to get it....You CAN'T just do anything you want and get away with it. If I get caught with a gun, I would have to do time too.

Just my 2 cents.....

the world is moving towered touch based software rich devices and this is a Joke

Physical distribution is dead. If they want to cater to impulse buyers at a retailer, install a kiosk with a variety of ports, card readers, BlueTooth, etc and let people download stuff instantly.

but dont build MP3 bricks
