I think the Blu-ray technology is great. I don't think you know what you are talking about. Maybe you are heavily invested in HDVD stocks, I really dont get his point on this, Its great the sound is great, it rocks, but doesnt want to pay more than 200 bucks for a decent player. heck my first VHS recorder cost about one thousand, back in the early 80's.
You have to give this time, it just won the format war this year. All new technologies take time to come down in price to more affordable levels. IMHO, I think we are at these levels now. The price of the Blu-ray disks could be a little cheaper, but you can get good deals.
