I have a relative who took my suggestion and canned cable for free TV broadcasts. His family was paying for cable mostly to get a clear picture, at least compared to old analog broadcasts. He's delighted at saving money with digital broadcasts that are even better than cable HDTV.
There is one other big benefit, he points out. He can put his TVs anywhere in the house. He's no longer beholden to where the cable jacks are.
Broadcast is the ultimate in wireless, whole-house video distribution.
