Digital TV Switch Still May Get Last-Minute Delay

The U.S. Senate passed another bill to delay the Digital TV switch. Or delay part of it. Now it goes back to the House, where it may not come up for a vote until late next week.

That would mean industry and consumers might have ten days or so warning that the deadine is changing. Only Congress, which made this a mess in the first place, could be working so hard to worsen it.

There is A)no money in the coupon so if you want a box you cant get 40 off any more B)in digital the signal drops after about 30 miles to almost nothing C)the converter boxes are pieces of $hit D)the economy is in the drain so a lot of people cant get cable E)think of the poor who bet the free channels and might not own a computer F)on the same note think of the old people who cant use a computer

Yes, idiot, we should stop ALL TELEVISION BROADCASTS because your ignorant a$$ thinks he's the only one on the planet.
Just because you don't use your TV much means that you're the typical American? Because all these people in rural parts of the country do everything online? Get real.
Quit thinking you're the only human being on the planet. There's about 300 million more Americans who need to be spoken for, not just your self-centered idiotic self.

The fact that this is being discussed on the internet pretty much tells us that TV is obsolete anyway. I mean who watches video broadcast over the radio spectrum anymore? Who want someone else to decide what they can watch and when they can watch it?
Broadband internet on demand is the future, digital TV is going down the satelite radio drain.
I mean is there anyone who doesn't have an internet connection nowadays? I read the newspaper, wathc my favorite "TV shows" pay my bills and send letters to friends all over the net, the Tv is just used to connect to netflix via xbox. If broadcast analog or digital completely stopped hardly anyone would miss it.
