After participating in the same 'webinar' as Mr. LaGesse, I wrote and posted an open letter to Ed Colligan and Dan Hesse on Palm Addict. It can be found here:

Palm is no Apple when it comes to marketing. So I would tell Palm to get old marketing people out of their company and let new-comers (ala ex-Apple employees) to work in marketing department. Till now its been Jeff Hawkins and Ed Colligen who mess up product release after product release at Palm. Since Jon Rubenstein took over, who gave Palm new life with his iron fist over info leakage, he is the one who announced Pre and PalmWebOS with Apple's Iphone-like CES presentation. I would let him choose ex-Apple employees to market the device and launch. To me it looks like Palm want cheap marketing whereever they can. Late nights shows, outside soap opera award shows, Knight rider TV show appearance and someone even mention Howard Stern show. I mean come on. If they really want marketing let all tech bloggers preview the device unlike Apple who just choose Walt Mossberg and let them write about it. I got my finger crossed. Palm and Sprint may have long partnership but they have old history of messing up new device launch.
