Year of the Bailout

You say Bush allowed the abuse, but did you consider that the entrie issue of the economy today started before 2000? All the presidents before, and including Bush, might have known about a possible economic issue, but when the nation is supposed to have an economy where the government does not involve themselves, what do you expect a president to do? Our frustration should only be taken out on ourselves for spending money that we could not give.

In case you haven't noticed, the current group of democrats in charge are *democrats*!

Google Chris, Barney Frank, Kamie Gorelic.

And the American people can NO LONGER afford the current Congress and this mess they created.

We are taxed out and maxed out! It's time to send the piper, and his confiscatory income insurgents *HOME*, and let us run our own lives, expenses and affairs.

We can't afford national health insurance for every citizen but we can bailout these institutions so the billionaires will not lose any money. Who is going to eventually wind up paying for these bailouts? The same citizens that can't afford health care! Socialism for the rich, capitalism for the poor. An they laugh all the way to the bank.

Government interventions on Republican watches? Have you noticed the interventions are needed because of Republican policy and government?

Privatize the profits, Socialize the losses. That's what they do, folks. And Palin the Lipstick Pig (Pitbull, whatever) does not change that.

Oops, did I call Sarah a pig? Barack didn't. So I will.

OMINOUS SIGN BEHIND PAULSON’S ACTIONS

http://pacificgatepost.blogspot.com/2008/09/secretary-paulson-reasures-foreign.html

And as usual the taxpayer is on the hook in the biggest bailout ever, and forever after that.

WHERE IS CONGRESS ON THIS?

The best we hear from it is related to suggesting reduced severance packages for outgoing executives? How limp.

How about a thorough analysis into the self serving actions of these institutions? Taxpayers deserve no less.

… and how ironic that the biggest Government INTERVENTION in history is being implemented under Bush’s watch, after his policies stimulated and allowed the abuse.

The US National debt as announced by the government today. They also announced the $403 billion dollar deficit for fiscal year 2008. Total deficit over the last 4 years, over $1 trillion. So, it would take the entire GDP of the country for 4 years to pay off the national debt. Ladies and Gentlemen, any politician that tell you they will lower taxes can only do it by borrowing more money and putting this country on the brink of insolvency. Bottom line; Time to pay the piper.
