One definition of an oligarchy is a form of government where political power effectively rests with a small elite segment of society distinguished by wealth. Whether Democrat or Republican, it sure seems like there are just a few individuals in US society controlling a lot of rather shady decision-making concerning our children's economic futures. Just remember, all this debt incurred by our government, will ultimately be paid for, by either you and I, or more probably, by our children. Our "elected" oligarchs ignored our strong objections to the first series of "bailouts" this past Fall. They continue to flush our children's future down the toilet with impunity. We should all be "politically vocal" NOW! There should be such a thunderous voice NOW by Americans that these oligarchs tremble with fear, and run away, hide.

Well, there's always "Soylent Green" to look forward to.

would you believe that gmac owned a house i was trying to buy..... I already had a bank approval... i already had the down. i already had the credit approval. gmac steps in.. first they prequal me,, and then without my knowledge they take my informaation and ssn and give it to a credit card agency who thens approves and signs me up for a credit card i dont want. lowering my credit score with 2 or more inqueries, then another credit card i dont want or need.. then they wouldnt let me buy the house with my bank that i was pre approved on the loan, they insisted only they would approve the deal if i use them as a bank.... after months of being screwed and offers and counteroffers and even when the house price had dropped 40 grand,,they tried to keep my good faith money, they were crazy as hell. My original banker was embarassed at how the asset manager was being wierd and unreasonable. they were decietful and vindictive. the thought that my taxpayer money going to these clowns makes me sick

This is the worst form of socialism, where we take from the poor and give it to the rich. If you really want to see whats going on please watch this movie:

Come on webmasters. Check your links. "Chrysler will still be running on fumes, even with a bailout" and "a proper way to grill a CEO seeking a bailout" both point to the cars that drove Detroit's customers away.

And in that article, the link that is supposed to go to cars that will help Detroit point to the same cars that will sink Detroit pictures.

Some of us actually read your articles and click on the links!
