I think that the government should never have bailed them out because this just opened the door for them to come back for more.Which they have been doing for the past three months.

There should be more bailouts for the little people not those that has abused the process thus far.Its time for the new blood to take over now.

I am loving these kinds of stories! Lets see the big 3 go under and fail!! LOL! They have been living purely in a fantasy world for decades. Producing absolute garbage. Now the party is over. lets see Chrysler go under and disappear. Let see about 1/2 the auto dealers go out of business. They are a horrible group, all together!

Who wants a short bed pickup or one that is too narrow to lay a piece of plywood in. As for the price discounts; they started out on the moon and came down to the space station. I guess I will just have to run my old F150 till the fenders flap.

Chrysler is probably toast. Oh well. The only way American automakers can gain market share over Japanese cars is to put out a vehicle that claims to be on par with the Japanese car, but at a cheaper price. Most people spending $14-15k for a new car would skip over a Chevy Cobalt or Ford Focus when they can get a Corolla or Civic at the same price. The American car will have to be 20% cheaper to win over buyers. Then, if the quality's there, they may retain those buyers and win over their friends & relatives.
