I MYSELF DON'T LIKE THE WAY THE COUNTRY IS BEING RUN.I THINK THAT BAILOUTS SHOUD go to the American tax payers to keep them from loosing their homes ,to forclosure. And they let the illegal aliens coming to the USA to get free homes, food stamps& pay no taxes. And when you make A phone call ,and it says press 1 for English.I feel offended by that ,being I'm A U.S.citizen.And I don,t think we should have our kids to be forced to speak other language, they need to speak english to live hear or go back to there country. How about the homeless when Obama came to Florida this year,he put A homeless lady up in A hotel! once again what about the other homless.sounds like the others are single out.right!!!!!

Why are we continuing to borrow our own curency? Why doesn't the Congress activate the buy back clause in the "Federal Reserve Act of 1913"? It is my under standing we can purchase our total debt for $250 Billion. That way when we are through this mess we will not have a huge debt to 's pay. We would in effect only owe our selves.

I have not even heard this discussed. Has anyone considered this?

no regulation, bank and finance lobbyists bought our politicians

and saw to it that there was no oversight, no regulation, no law, no justice. Bush and GOP were in charge. They deserve all the credit along with the conservative-controlled media. There is no free-press in the USA under Bush. Just the way Bush wanted. Keep the sheep ignorant while they are getting fleeced.

hey phil...i am in total agreement with you on your perspective. i can only hope obama is smart enough to realize it too. whether whomever agrees with obama, i hope he can see pass this dilemma and realize the truth. i agree, that initial bail out money should have gone to the people via their debt collectors and not in directly into their hands. some people wouldnt pay off their debt if they had a $10,000 check in their hand. all those that were padding their own personal accounts should be thrown in jail. its fraud and stealing. how basic or more simple can it be.

"obama FIST BLACK PRESIDENT NOW AND FOR EVER"

Nice comment. With English skills like that, it seems obvious you were one of the morons who voted for him.

If you want to immediately & directly win over the public-at-large & local governments, STOP FORECLOSURES NOW. The 'family-in-the-street will directly feel that, understand it & heave a sigh of relief. Citizens will then have some patience for other bailout efforts. Don't wait for the banks to be hit by a bolt of altruism. That's NOT going to happen. They are clutching that bailout money tightly to their chests & are not letting go.
