Love how Aventura or Dadeland Mall didn't make this lost. They are far better, more productive than several on this (old) list.

And did they mean profitable as in productive for the retailer or NOI for the landlord...

Too funny.

I have heard that this is the most PRESTIGIOUS mall in the US from a few sources. Have never been there myself. Does anyone know who owns this mall??

Mall at Millennia is a great mall and IKEA next door is icing on the cake.

I live in San Diego and frequently go to Fashion Valley and South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa and I see bigger spenders and allot more people there than at Fashion Valley?

I couldn't agree more with MJ of TX, I wonder what kept U.S. new from putting them on the list at 100% capacity & highest profit per sq. foot in the U.S.?

I'm surprise Bal Harbour isn't on the list. I wonder why it's got left out. This mall is always 100% occupied with sale average of $2000/square foot according to WWD. Yes I wrote $2000 not mistakenly hit the #2 instead of #1. I don't think this list is accurate.

I've lived in Vegas off and on since 1963. The price of a house in Vegas has nothing to do with the Forum shoppers at Caesar's. Those are tourists shopping there. Most locals I know make it a point to avoid the Strip, and many even brag about how many years it's been since they went anywhere near it, unless they work there.

The 'upscale' shopping for Vegas locals is Boulevard Mall and Galleria, and they aren't on any posh lists. The new Town Center across from the airport is busy but it's stores are very middle class; Roxy/Quicksilver, Apple, Borders books, etc.

By contrast the Forum Shops has two Louis Vuitton stores.
