The President will turn this country around, from the mess that Bush left us, given the chance. That's all he needs.

Or You could admit that it has been 1 year, and he's not a miracle worker...or...you could admit that the POTUS doesn't have much to do with the economy in the first place. A vote is not wasted if you beleive in it. God Bless America!

To all the people that had the OBAMA dream, is it worth it now. Admit your mistake with your vote, don't let it happen again

Nevermind the current facts in front of your nose. Admit that your vote for Obama was a mistake and try to avoid you making the same mistake again...it's the adult thing to do. Or simply tell us the total number of unauthorized czars appointed by Obama in less than a year and the dollar amount of their total annual compensation. They are part of the government growth of the Obama Administration. Finally, do some research beyond reading USA Today and will be surprised. Most information, including voting records, are available online.

The poster who thinks Bush "wasn't a great president" is correct on that score (and on not much else). Bush grew the federal government faster than any president except Ronald Reagan (doubtless another Fed Up hero, but check the facts for a change). He might also notice that Pelosi, Frank, and other Democrats did not run the congress until 2007, after SIX YEARS of pure Republican rule (House, Senate, Presidency, and Supreme Court). And those six years were disasters in both foreign and domestic affairs: Stupid, ruinous wars, giveaways to the richest one-and-a-half percent (check the facts here, too, it might do you some good), and a habit of making fools of themselves in the minds of the rest of the world.

Anti-Obama enthusiasm these days is heavily correlated with lower IQs. It shows in this forum.

Yes the Obama administration is doing something, but it is not likely to make it better for everyone. Just those of you who want us all to cater to your lazy whiny asses. How about you get off your soap box and contribute something worthwhile instead of thinking that those of us who actually work for a living help those of you who are too good to work fast food, mop floors or shovel shit. I bet you are one of those share the wealth kind of guys. Don't get me wrong I am all for helping those who are in need and willing to help themselves. The Obama administration is creating a whole new classs of gredy crybabies that don't think they should contribute to the this country.

just to put you in the know, we Texicans do like fine wine, some of it from your great state, as well as a motley assortment of

worldly cuisine. we are not all "hillbillies" but first and foremost, we believe the main hand you can depend on is the one at the end of your arm. also just for the record, in 2008 52% of the new jobs in the U.S. were from Texas. as a final note govenor Rick Perry refunded a portion of the workers comp coffers back to small businesses, due to the overflow of money, "mom & pop" businesses were able to use this money for new equipment, hire more employees, or expand their business in some other way. we also still do not have a state income tax which for you all is about to be doubled. need i say more "?

Actually, it was your Dem Congress and Senate that worsened things during the Bush II years. He wasn't a great president, but there wasn't much he could do to improve things with Pelosi, Frank and the other narcissistic jerks ruining our country. By the way, Obama is screwing up this country faster than anyone in history, because he's completely clueless.

Hey B of IN....Yes, you're right, it really sucks that we have a president and an administration that wants to do something about the recession, unlike his predecessor who was counting the days until he headed back to hillbilly texas. u republicans are all the same. as long as things are ok with u, who gives a crap about anybody else. makes for a great country if everybody just thought of themselves, u loser.

Just because you've heard of most of these retailers, doesn't mean everyone has. I live in the DFW area also, and I haven't heard of all of them either. By the way d51259, maybe you should get out more and drive to Ennis...then you would have heard of O'Reilly's.
