Get Used To a Bipolar Economy

We are in a downward spiral - or as I see it a whirlpool that is sucking the financial wherewithal out of our country by moving it to the likes of countries like India, China and numerous other low income labor countries.

We will continue to hemorrhage the life blood of our economy, our dollars, to these nations all in the sake of cheap products for the good of world businesses like Walmart, Target, auto companies etc.

As our economy tanks and slowly dies the multinational businesses will move on to better economies to rape the finances of their economies. Thus we have a continual decline in the world's economic health and at last a totally government controlled financial system world wide.

Well I've enjoyed the ride up but the ride down has really been a thrill, and is like diving off a cliff and hoping there is a pool of water at the bottom. oops, SPLAT! So much for the pool.

If the diagnosis is a bi-polar, can big-pharma inject some SSRI's into the economy?

They would make a killing.....

Thank God there are people out there who have a gift for seeing the general as well as the specific, and are not easily fooled with euphoric cheerleading from the sidelines without undertanding the underlying facts.

Just like the idiot that was running Chrysler into the ground and voting himself a golden parachute for retirement while selling off millions in assets(other companies owned as subsidiaries)and pretending that all was well just because he made the stock price look good to share holders, but knowing that the corporation was almost bankrupt before Lee Iocoka had to come in and clean up his mess by getting government loans which Lee I. was able to eventually pay back. DO NOT BE DECIEVED BY SIMPLETONS WHO DO NOT GIVE YOU ALL THE FACTS!!!!

Anyone that lies to you and says you don't need to know all the facts or just ignore that 900lb gorilla (overextended debt and derivatives)that is sqaushing our economy, is hiding something and they do not want you to figure out what our true situation is. Probably because they have hidden agendas, or want you to pay for their insane investment policies(like our suicidal trade policies with China). Keep in mind a persons "stand on an issue" is directly related to where they "sit". If only our politicians had such ethics and desire for truth in reporting. I would much rather go back to the old Dragnet motto: "Just the facts mam".It seems that they always get left out these days.

Good article. We've reached the GDP inversion point. Since our GDP is now mostly based on accumulating consumer debt rather than creating wealth, this means that growth in GDP reflects declining net worth, or increasing poverty. While Americans are finally trying to control credit card spending, the per capita debt arising from borrowing from China to pay for government services like healthcare, financial industry cronyism, wars, education, etc., is exploding.

Poor folks can live large by borrowing more and more money, thereby achieving a great GDP/capita, but only temporarily.

A piece like this one, deserves a one word comment {see title}.

Typical media meatball. Knows that bad news sells and good news is boring. Ergo

prays for bad news. A fan of the "half empty" viewpoint as opposed to the "half full."

Has a problem for every solution. As I said, typical media meat head.
