Anolther restaurant that has recently changed for the better by lowering prices is Denny's. Good prices for the money and food. They now offer $2, $4, $6, and $8 menus. Check it out!

Learn blues guitar and other guitar licks fast and easy. Would you believe you actually know twice as much as you think you do about playing guitar?

Came across this guys site and the free stuff he has given me literally changed the way I look at playing guitar AND... true to his promise, he has shown me how to more than triple what I already know how to do on the guitar.

So what in the heck does this have to do with Texas Road house?

Well, oddly enough, I live hundreds of miles from where this gentleman I've mentioned above lives. But, here's where it gets interesting.... I happened to be vacationing in his area and popped into a local Texas Road house a couple years ago and right there before me was this dude I had been following on the web.

Funny how the web can connect you in the weirdest ways!

I went up and introduced myself and confirmed that it was him to which he smiled and welcomed me to sit down at his table and talk about guitars. Now that was cool.

Well, that's my Texas Roadhouse story, peanuts and all.

The guys website is http://www.learnguitarfastandeasy.com and he gives you a boatload of free lessons that are pretty darn slick.

Strange - they claim chains like McDonalds and Burger King have lost business. I just recently watched a report on national news that McDonalds is seeing record sales this year.

Not only are the sandwiches delicous & generous in size, but their Potato Salad is the best in the South! When I am in the mood for a salad I order the Harvest Salad for lunch and bring the rest home for dinner! The first time I heard about Rising Roll Gourmet was when my office ordered in for a "lunch & learn" and we used their Group Online Ordering feature which is awesome! I got an "evite" to order what I wanted for lunch...pretty cool! www.risingroll.com

At home we like to find great restaurants where the locals eat. Why not do this when traveling in a new area?

We use the Food TV network show "Diners, Drive ins and Dives" and search by locale to find the Best places to eat for cheap!

It works every time, and its so much fun NOT to eat in chain restaurants!

If anyone is in the macon area in Georgia, you should try Tropical Flava restaurant at 5201 Houston Road. Its a comfortable restaurant that offers service with style and nice portion size for family. Great family meals, reasonably priced. Check it out...I am sure you will be saying the same thing. Great caribbean food...great tofu too.

Was in Orlando and asked the concierge at the hotel we were staying at to recommend a place for supper, not far in driving distance.

He recommended Bob Evans, 1st of all, I ordered " Meat Loaf "

The meat dish had enough sodium to put me into cardiac arrest. The rest was a so so mixture of inedible food. Think twice before going in. I wrote the company and they sent me a $5.00 discount coupon, well that went into the garbage. I won't be returning nor recommending that food joint.

Better at Mickey D's....at least the food there has a high turnover.
