Whatever is going to happen with economy. if anything negative happens, Employee is going to suffer.

To Create new jobs Funds should be available in market, Public mentality should be positive and in current situation its not going to happen.

also who ever is the president its not going to affect. they are not god.

so be patient for another year. Be savy and trust on god :)

JOBS will be created when DEMAND picks up, DEMAND will pick up when Consumers start SPENDING, Consumers will start SPENDING when CREDIT is available again, CREDIT will be available again when the Banks start LENDING, Banks will start LENDING when they are sure they can offset the Loan losses on their balance sheets, Loan losses will stop pilling up on Balance Sheets when Real Estate Asset Prices stop declining, Real Estate Asset Prices will stop Declining when Values hit bottom and stabilize, Values will hit bottom and stabilize when the Government stops Stimulating, When the Government stops stimulating Supply and Demand will once again find its Equilibrium., While we are waiting for all that to happen Real Unemployment will continue to rise, Credit will continue to tighten, Bankruptcies and Credit Card Defaults will continue soar. And if the FED raises rates the Dollar will rise, all HELL will break loose and the Economy will Tank ! DO YOU NOW Get The PICTURE ! Prepare for a very Long Recovery . . . . . . like 15 to 20 years !

its not business owners, it not the economy, its the laws.

During the eighties, 90's and early part of 2000, critical laws were changed that protected this country for a half a century. its our law thats flawed. Bank n stock mergers should never been allowed..period. But with the stroke of a pen...banks could act like investment brokers and the merril lynches of the world could act like banks. Then Insurance felt lonely so another stroke of a pen and Isurance companies could act like an investor on monday and a bank on tuesday, etc...and banks could now sell stocks and insurance products over the banks counter. All By the act congress...yes...those same super now rich congressmen...that now hold wall street in disdain. Then congress decided to change the housing laws in such a way that anybody with a pulse had to be approved and given money to buy a house. But still Our country was so strong that even this did not bring it down. It took two more acts of congress to destroy a once proud nation. 1st. the SEC chair(the attorney general investment violation enforcement) sat vacant for an half a decade because congress would not approve him. Basically, we had laws...to protect us but nobody...no overseer to enforce the rule breakers. Even that did not break our back. Finally one last stroke...Two years before the Bush Administration ended Congressional the democrats gained control...and Nacy Pelosi became head honcho. Her first act: on an economy that was already ravaged by poor laws that allowed the english like AIG and the Chinese to take over our country... Nancy force fed us with a minium wage increase and American companies were force out of competiion of almost every product that is on our store shelfs...because it cost more(minium wage increase) to make the same damn goods. Thank you , Nancy and company. You have to love the good ole' congress.

There is no such thing in Economics as a jobless Recovery. This is another fabrication of Wall Street and the feel good guys. You can't have job creation without CREDIT and Credit is continuing to decline. America is in Denial, Decline and Deflation. Its only the 3rd inning with 6 still to go ! When will America wake up and realize that the "Hot Air" coming from Wall Street, the FED and the Government is just that . . . . . Hot Air" to keep the Public warm and fuzzy while they try all sorts of things to stop Deflation and further deterioration in the Economic situation. 2010 is going to bring alot of Truths out of the Wood Work. Batten down the hatches it's better to be prepared than Sorry. It's only a matter of time.

We've known for some time that ALL POLITICIANS IN OFFICE are owned by the corporations. Period. There are no exceptions. We need to elect all NEW Representatives and Senators to remind them that "We the People..." are more important than corporations. So vote out the incumbents--send some new people to Washington!

We just pass a law requiring everyone to either: A. Make hackee sack balls or: B. Play hackee sack for a living. This way everyone will be productively employed and we can then tax the living snot out of them! Simple!

Our Government is hired and fully controled by Large Corporations, not US Citizents anymore. This is why it cares less about anyone who's small anymore and future of small businesses. They are bureaucrats selling themselves during lobbying process and waiting to give back to their patrons. Overseas investors from Asia control those Large Corporations with their shares in them. This is why the overall tendency is "let's do business by selling not just cheap, but selling very cheap". Let kill the small businesses think "large corporate uncontrolled animals". Since this days large corporations are no longer subject to anti-trust laws, they are fully allowed and equiped with "deap sale tools" to do the "holocaust" to the small businesses in USA. Large corporation are no longer even under control by their own boards of directors, since everyone in any large company thinks how to save his ass and show good results in such a seek climate created by the same large corporations. It's like mass instinction where dinosaurs want to eat and ate more then they were allowed. In such case they even ate the roots of small trees, thus eliminating their own future food. Why nobody is stopping the "large animals", because they are still be very strong and they do not listen to their brains(anti-trust activists and small business growth advocates). They only listen to themselves: "we need more food, let's eat the small animals(businesses), let's distroy their food. Let roll next big sale, let drop prices, maybe this will create new jobs in China:)"

. Before we reinact antitrust laws and help the large corporations to realize that they need to stop helping our Bureaucratic Govenrment in destroying themselves, their helpers - small businesses and this great country. We - small businesses and jobless professionals need to unite and protect the small animals(businesses%2

First of all, Ben (below) is right about the illegal alien thing driving American wages down.

But there is something else. High end tax cuts (of which we had too many from Reagan to Bush II) DO NOT CREATE JOBS---despite the line of bull you hear from the chamber of commerce crowd. The truth is precisely the opposite.

If you create an incentive in the tax code for corporations and their kings to keep more of the savings from laying people off----guess what? They lay people off. This is why Microsoft can have $20+ billion in cash on hand and still think it "needs" to trim the workforce.

America prospered very well under "conservative" ole Dwight Eisenhower, who presided over personal income tax rates as high as 91% on very high incomes. The sooner you tax those quarter-billion dollar CEO pay packages on that order again, the sooner you'll have less "cost-cutting" carnage of the middle class.
