Well, Walter, you had your say... Judging another human being is really not up to us but to the one concerned; in this cases Tiger and his wife. Give the guy a break...

This is the most sensible, unbiased article on TW I have read. Thanks for the ultimate truth. It shows me there are still writers that write and report without an agenda!

like any other man, he has cheated on his wife. Like the Bible says,'let the man who has never cheated be the first to throw the stone at Tiger'!! Obviously not even a single man will. We are all human and the media is going his job to get money by chasing famous people who fall low! Tiger, take your time to come back when u are ready.Walter

I love what Gary of Texas said. Before all of this happened, he looked arrogant, never smiling or friendly, like he was better than everyone and everyone was below him. About a week before his accident, I remember saying to someone, I am tired of hearing his name, doesn't he have enough money by now? why not retire and give someone else a chance to shine at golf? There is nothing friendly about him and he looks like he makes all the decisions about everything and if people do not like it, he does not care. If I was sincere I would not be reading an I'm sorry speech off a piece of paper. Like someone said earlier, I think he is only sorry he got caught

Tiger is not a "superhuman" as people made him out to be. As a matter of fact there is really no such thing as a "superhuman." - all of us are equally human. He is just the best golfer that ever lived - and probably every will be. This is because of years and years of gruelling practice. The fact that he is way better than the rest at golf does not mean that he is going to have a perfect life outside the golfing arena.

Woods has problems just like all of us. If all of us look into ourselves and see the things we have done, we can see that we are not perfect by any means and the only reason why our character is not defamed it's because we are not famous. I am by no means condoning what Tiger has done. I am agreeing with the general public and even Tiger himself, that he has made a devasting mistake and he like all of us when we slip needs forgiveness and support because he is no "superhuman".

I am doubtful that Tiger will decide to return to playing golf professionally. He couldn't deal with the press before his exposure to the tabloid side of it, so will the PGA be successfull by refusing to allow him to give post-tourney interviews because he will refuse to discuss his personal life? Golfers need press just like any other athlete. A major difference from Koby and Magic is that they were members of teams, and, their behavior was somewhat typical of previous incidents in those pro sports. A similar reason as to why Vick is being re-accepted into pro football.

Golf is a singular competition of players, and, all one has to do is look at the history of John Daly to see how the press has been after him for his issues with alcohol. Sure, Daly has been through a marriage or maybe two, but he was not exposed for infidelity to the degree that Tiger has been. If Tiger tries to make a comeback, it will have to be AFTER a divorce when he can play the ladies without all the guilt that will come with it if he would still be married. If he was sincere in his outrage about the press hounding his wife and children, and, the 'misrepresentation' of his wife using a 9-iron on him since there 'has never been any physical abuse' in his marriage, then it is certain there are many tabloid reporters biding their time waiting to follow his every move in the future. I think he will retire, use his current wealth to live on, and, seek becoming a family man that his father apparently was not. He can work with his foundation, and, when OJ gets out of prison, then he can help OJ look for Nicole's killer on the links!

This Tiger is a different kind of person than let's say Kobe or Magic. Magic revealed all and we felt sorry for him because he was always so jubilant and positive and people forgave him. Kobe had a little fling and the public forgave him BUT in Tiger's case, people aren't forgiving because of his multiple affairs, defiant nature, and heartless apology. Like Watson said he had better show a little humility because I think he'll be playing more than the golfing-field when he starts playing.
