Worst bowl names, not even close any list that doesn't include the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl is not to be taken seriously.

I just say that they drop the sponsors in the name all together. They are just eyesores and seriously, no one cares who sponsors the game or who it is presented by.

Actually I believe the names Peach, Cotton, Orange etc were sponsored by the respective industry groups. Not individual companies but Industry Associations. They certainly were intended to draw attention to those industries.

If I got a free sample with my Bowl ticket, I would prefer the Chick-Fil-A Bowl. Nothing is better than their sandwich! And it would go great with a VT victory over Tennessee! Oh well, I guess I'll just have to buy some at the local Chick-Fil-A store and watch the game on ESPN.

I grew up in Georgia and at every football game or superbowl party I could always remember the gigantic plate of chick-fil-a chicken in the kitchen right next to the cooler full of beer. In my mind the chick-fil-a bowl is a perfect bowl name. Chick-fil-a is not like most fast food places.. It closes on sunday... Christian Company??? Ya....Over the years Chick-fil-a has been a sponsor for many high schools throughout the country and has been very supportive torwards the nations high school and athletic programs.

One of the nation's older "bowl games" is right in Minnesota, appropriately called the "Snobowl." Since numerous Minnesota TV stations have annually covered 50 years of this Christmas game, I think the organizers have missed the golden opportunity to get rich (the American Dream) by selling the title. Imagine the millions lost here....

Couldn't stop laughing - the sponsors should worry about buyer fatigue.It has become a reflection of gross commercialism that crept into everything namely Christmas .I'll wager that the first sponsor to ease off the hard sell -will do so with the appropriate fanfare -kinda like a certain Hollywood couple known for philanthropic events in the Third World very close to the release of a new film.

Do you think people care what their bowl is called? These kids are all given an opportunity of a life time being able to play in a bowl type atmosphere and all you have to write about is what the name of the bowl is called? Try writing an article of how important it is for companies like Chick Fil A, Outback or any other sponsor to put their time and money into an event like this giving College Kids the opportunity to play in front of 100,000 fans in be nationally publicized.
