The National federal bank is a private organization. I don't mind paying tax when it goes to the government and back to the people. The problem is, it goes to private banks/entities = black hole. We're being jackassed!

Penny for your thoughts, or my 2 cents, but tax every person who comments on any article on any news orginizations website. Double the tax for more than 4 posts to the same article, and quadruple it for those who go off topic..

I agree with Martha above. WE are the ones who should be running the show. What is wrong with this picture? Unless the people , all of us band together, peaefully, and demand gov't for the people and BY the people, hello, then just sit back and be the slave worker without any say or anything left. ONE MAN, isn't the savior, We ALL are the saviors of this silly joke.

If only we all understood how ridiculous the current system actually is, we wouldn't think these are so funny. I'd gladly pay my fair share if anyone actually knew what that amount might be. I've heard estimates that our grandchildren's debt will be $40K on the day they are born, or was that $110K? Nobody knows - it's a moving target.

We keep expecting "them" and "Washington" to provide all things to all people and don't understand that "them" and "Washington" are "you and me". And that "you and me" will pay for everything in the end. (Pun intended.)

Whatever increased expenses (including taxes) any business experiences will ALWAYS be passed on to the customer/ consumer. Let's not be naive, ok?
