Tax all people who give useless opinions. 15 percent of the paid subscription or advertisement for every letter written or syable spoken.

Tax all churches and religious affiliations. That will encourage separation of church and state as the constitution intended. That way atheists finally get a fair break. Since atheism is a growing cultural phenomenon, and no religion can prove anything relevant about their claims, it seems like a good way to get more tax dollars. After all, do you see how much money some of those guys (churches and some of the people associated with them) pull in? We could cut the deficit in half in no time.

Pure genius. I fully support the K-Dub tax; that's a home run there good sir. The OverExposure Tax would enable the President to inundate us with his presidential face while giving back to the people in the form of tax dollars. But where would he pay those dollars from? Perhaps another tax should be enacted to create a fund from which he can draw so that we can see him on the big screen Monday-Friday, like a new favorite sitcom!

impose a 15% sales tax that is fully refundable to all legal residents whom file an income tax form. The tax could be phased in incrementaly and tax filers could be given refund checks every 3 months.

Change the tax law so that politicians have to pay a tax (20% or so) on the contributions that they recieve from their donors. Why should they receive millions and millions of dollars for their campaigns and not have to pay taxes on it.

The article is full of sarcasm and lacks any kind of analysis on the pros and cons of the proposed Bank tax.

I agree with Mike of IL - let's tax members of Congress for overpaying themselves, and for not guaranteeing that all Americans have access to the same health insurance plans that they do. How about every time that they waste tax dollars? We should take a vote on their decisions, and if they lose, assign a "tax waster penalty tax" on the people who approved the wasteful spending. Might make them think twice.

This is an addendum to the overexposure tax. It should be imposed on any politician seen in a "diner" trying to pretend and act like they are one of the "common folk."
