It's good to see a come back the American vehicle market. Our pride has always been in the products we produce, and without companies like GM, Ford, and Chrysler...we start to lose that pride. Keep it up America, we're not finished yet!

"if YOUR FAMILY TRANSPORTATION DEVICE (Civic hybrid) isn't a better value (taller, more spacious, less expensive, better mpg) than THEIRS (Prius), than people will buy THEIRS, if they are looking for a hybrid."

...Well, why not just buy a Fusion Hybrid and blow 'your and theirs' out of the water? Twice the car, better quality, and near the same everyday mileage. Yeah, it's a few bucks more, but you do get what you pay for.

My 2 cents...

The problem with Honda and hybrids is they cannot get the idea our of their head that hybrids must be sporty or luxurious or elite.

The point of a hybrid is to USE LESS GAS. If I want to SAVE MONEY, than I am likely a head of household looking for INEXPENSIVE, SPACIOUS transportation for my family. I don't want a silly V6 Hybrid Accord or some overpriced, cramped, two seat micro-coupe CR-Z.

Honda, if YOUR FAMILY TRANSPORTATION DEVICE (Civic hybrid) isn't a better value (taller, more spacious, less expensive, better mpg) than THEIRS (Prius), than people will buy THEIRS, if they are looking for a hybrid.
