Rick 15% (which is a lie) of a million dollars is way more than 15% of 50K. what kind of drugs are you on? For a filthy immoral individual look no further than bill Clinton. Leftists are so ignorant and Hypocritical.

I would rely on Glenn, Rush, and Fox News more than any place else. These Guys are not uneducated, they are self educated and seem to know more than the person in the first post. Fox News is the most accurate News and does not have a libral agenda and at least you will hear both sides on Fox, my favorite News outlet.

Let's see, there's an upper limit to social security taxes. Make more than that limit and you and your employer "save" 7.5% each, making a total of 15%. There's an upper limit to the medicaid/medicare taxes, too. Make more than that and you save an additional 1.5%. Now we're up to a tax savings of 16.5% that the average joe never sees.

And, of course, that only applies to wage earners. Be wealthy enough to live off your investments and hold those gains for 1 year + 1 day and you'll only pay 15% tax.

This means Mr. Rich's federal taxes are already half of what Mr. Average's are.

Then again, the system is designed to favor the rich. So, it seems to be working.

And, please, do not lecture me with "facts" you've gotten from Rush or Glenn. Study their history. Study their education. Study their backgrounds. They simply pull their supposed "facts" out of their @$$es. Personally, I don't recommend that anyone get their information from uneducated, moron, drug addicts and drunks of low moral fiber.

And you Pat fans? Remember Fox News even says it's not news, it's "entertainment". I guess it is, if you find that kind of nonsense entertaining. But, again, I wouldn't advise anyone to get their facts from a moron, pervert, of low moral character.

But, hey, this is America, so you can tune in their shows if you want. You are free to embrace your ignorance as long as you want.

I'd just like to know why the american Mr. Bastion of Industry doesn't go live in China, India, or Brazil since he's shipping all the american jobs there.

(And, yes, I know the reasons...)

I posted this comment to the "Why the Rich Need the Poor" article:

"Where I think it falls short is by perhaps not going quite far enough in breaking down the spending and number of people in the income strata. How many people or housholds make under $100K (the $2.8T of spending), how many fall over $100K (the $2.1T of spending), how many make over $150K ($1.0T of the $2.1T). And the real missing piece, how many households and what is the spending by those making over $250K per year since that is Obama's proposed tax plan. I would think that would be of most interest to the readers since that is the question at hand."

This article does start getting to the heart of the matter.

That is good information.
