I agree with one post entirely, the congressmen must take what they dish out for us- I went to a town hall meeting in Arkansas right before the election with Blanche Lincoln speaking. It was a lottery to see who could ask a question of her. One question was "if we get the Obama Health care plan will you as a Senator agree to take the same plan?" She did the typical polician's spin and would not answer, saying "we are doing the best we can for you". The crowd got to chanting "yes or no- yes or no!" She still would not answer the question. Of course they are not going to take our second rate plan, they have their own great healthcare and retirement plan, not junk like ours will be, I guarantee you there is no death panel doctors in their plan! Senator Lincoln got thrown out of office too, and I hope all the congressmen and women REMEMBER THIS OR THEY WILL GET THROWN OUT TOO! I want to know what makes us second class citizens and they are so very special? Throw the bums out if we do not come first, that is what they are paid to do but instead it is all about taking care of their own self, not the American public. We can do it and make them change if we are vigilent and let them know we are FED UP! Keep your eye on what they DO NOT what they PROMISE TO DO, ALL THEY DO IS SAY WHATEVER WILL GET THEM A VOTE AND THEN DO THE OPPOSITE AFTER THE VOTING IS OVER.

If our people are to have jobs we have to build factories again and have manufacturing jobs again and stop buying everything we use from China! Everyone can't be in the service industry, we have to have factories making goods for the American people again and then we will have good steady jobs for people in this country. I am sick of seeing NOTHING but CHINA on everything! I bought a can of PEARS the other day and what did it say- from CHINA!!! I threw them out! I buy American made cars and American grown pears or do without.

Better off? All they did was erase the gambling debts for wall street and the banks. Cars are not toxic assets. GM getting 50 Billion TARP and FORD gettingh 7 Billion PCDF. IT WAS A BANK ROBBERY for the FAT CATS all using the coverage of the housing scam. The other derivatives, not MBS, but CDS and CDOs killed the markets. FOreign banks got bailout. Now the Federal reserve bypass the US treasury and buys bonds directly from the US co owner Goldman Sachs. The Government and bankers netted 9 Trillion in the housing scam. Selling and shorting housing MBSs. So much money was made that they are backing off because too many people are waking up. Since when is a car a toxic asset? GM got 50 Billion in TARP owes about 27 Billion. FORD got 7 Billion in PCDF BAILOUT. Then we bailout insurance companies like AIG for 182 Billion. BAILOUT Housing GSEs like fannie mae and freddie mac for 400 Billion in TARP all lost. And FM & FM need more BAILOUT. No one says anything about the 1500 Trillion derivatives bets on wall street that created the mess....CDOs, CDSs? Compare that to the US national debt of 15 Trillion. I am trying to understand how all the economic terrorism and no one goes to jail? Just more Yahoo and AP propaganda programming. The stock market is a rigged casino so watch yourself. They have the PPT, FOMC and the new FSOC. Great job at covering up the derivatives fraud with the FSOC. TARP IS ONE OF MANY BAILOUT PROGRAMS. On December 01, 2010. The www federal reserve dot gov released its BAILOUT information on 21,000 that got BAILOUTS both local and foreign. It was nearly 1.75 years after the TARP bailouts and the list is not a comprehensive listing. 21,000 got BAILOUTS alot foreign. AMBS, TAF, CBLSL, PDCF, TSLF, TOP, AMLF, CPFF, TALF, MMIFF, Maiden Lane I, Maiden Lane II, Maiden Lane III, TARP....And on the money supply you got POMO on the front end and QE on the back end. Do not forget the stock market behind the scenes number manipulators PPT, FOMC and the new FSOC. I suggest you go to www federalreserve dot gov and examine how rigged the markets are. Your house is a poker chip, your retirement is a poker chip, and your future is a poker chip to be gambled on wall street. Corrupt congress is there for BAILOUTS, stimulus, tax cuts and QE. Congress can write the Dodd Frank Act and created the new FSOC to cover up the 1500 Trillion in DERIVATIVES fraud. That 1.5 quad trillion is according to BIS. The derivatives bets are not known exactly but you can estimate them to be 100 times more than the US national debt of 15 Trillion. It is just how the derivative bundles get unraveled. Why did Congress change the INDIVIDUAL bankruptcy laws in October 2005 so the middle / low class will most likely not meet the new means test for chapter 13 bankruptcy? Just bring back the factories to the United States.
That will take care of joblessness--Social Security
everyones pensions. and put ALL senators and
congresspeople on social securityNOT those FAT CAT
pensions and our same health care!!!
I think maybe a woman for president!!

I feel we can get back to where we are but it's going to be a price to pay and time. I don't think it's a question of, "Can America recover?" but rather, "Will America buckle down and pay the price to recover?"

i have a solution to all this mess. since we do have the power--our votes---how about we all as a country NOT vote in the next election--a complete blackout at the voter booths...not one elected official gets a vote.....then what would they do?
We the people have power, but its up to us to use it WISELY. dont keep voting people in to the positions that always corrupt even the "good" politicians...b/c the "love" of money corrupts absolutely....lets not vote for any one at all..show them that they cant just mistreat the american citizens once and for all.

"Many Americans worry that prosperity is gone forever."
This is a fact. America as we knew it is gone and will not return. We will never bounce back from 2008-2010 because we keep putting a bunch of idiots in office who have more money than they know what to do with and not a clue what is it really like for your normal average citizen/taxpayer. I would love to hear from one of them what their worst day is like....it couldn't compare to some of ours in our everyday lives and most of us don't have a bankroll to depend on. Try worrying about which bill you will have to let slide so you can keep your heat on or how you are going to feed your family if you pay the rent/mortgage. Or how at the age of 60 and female, and out of work for three years now you can have any kind of a future.

There is obviously a vast away of reasons of whys...yet there is few people who really understand "whats " happening to our country..To cut to the quick American is the last super power and once we have been reduced to just one othe guys then what really nis on the plate will be obvious to all but too late.
There has been a concerted effort by both political parties with their carefully planned dramas to change hats for the reason of keeping the American people in a state of confusion until the so-called elitist who think arrogantly of themselves as social achitects who have a complete different adgenda than
what is American...As it has been stated ..."the never waste a good crisis".
When important information is somehow uncovered that would show who's manipulating the wires its immediately debunk as a conspiracy or lunanacy.
We Americans listen to much to the so-called experts...we need to investigate for ourselves. When a tree dies itstart showing it at the top..Our country is being systematically disassembled purposely..As law abiding Americans we like to think the best of our elected officials and yet many have put their hands to destroying our way of life , right under our noses...The answer to our national decline cannot be stopped by polictical or economical means ..we cannot buy our way out of this! Open your eyes Americans and see the rotten fruit and then act . Both parties drink from the same watering trough....the corporations.
We have many traitors in high places...smell them out...Look an see what happen in 1913 and understand its vast implications..Bottom line our help will come if we humble ourselves and earnestly petition our God perhaps He will give some help. The world is in a transitional phase and many upheavals will continue to happen for changes are inevitable...
