CAP ALL GOVERNMENT SALARIES AT $50,000 MAX !!

TOO MANY GOVERNMENT JOBS PAYS WAY TOO MUCH $$$$$ AND THAT IS BECAUSE MOST WHITEHOUSE A-HOLES ARE NOTHING BUT SMART ! CROOKS !

ALL WHITEHOUSE WORKERS SHOULD BE FORCED TO RETIRE WITH ONLY SOCIAL SECURITY AND NO LIFETIME PENSIONS !!

ALSO IF OBAMA HEALTH CARE IS GOOD FOR WE THE PEOPLE OF USA THEN FORCE ALL WHITEHOUSE WORKERS TO ACCEPT THE SAME HEALTHCARE .

WHEN PEOPLE INSIDE OUR GOVERNMENT ARE FORCED TO HAVE A NORMAL LIFE LIKE WE THE PEOPLE ,, THEN MAYBE THINGS FOR WE THE P;EOPLE MIGHT GET A LOT BETTER !

I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN AGAINST ! GIVING ANY WORKER A LIFETIME PENSION OR SALARY JUST BECAUSE HE WAS LUCKY ENOUGH TO GET A GOVERNMENT JOB ..

WHY ARE THEY BETTER THAN YOU OR I . ??

I WOULD LOVE TO BE ABLE TO HAVE 20 TO 40+ YEAR BIG PAY AND BENEFITS WORK LIKE THE A-HOLES IN THE WHITEHOUSE GET .

AND IT IS BECAUSE ,, WE THE PEOPLE JUSR SIT BACK AND LET THE A-HOLES SCREW US TO DEATH AND WE DO 100% NOTHING !!

WE THE PEOPLE DESERVE EVERYTHING THAT WE DO NOT GET BECAUSE WE ARE TOOOOOO STUPID OR LAZZZZZY TO DO ANYTHING TO FIX OUR GOVERNMENT !

I LOVE USA BUT SOON I MIGHT BE FORC ED TO LEAVE BECAUSE IT IS NOW TOO EXPENSIVE TO LIVE A DECENT LIFE IN USA .

Yup - I am that four year degree, over ten years sr. admin in legal assistant who would be THRILLED to make 30 - 35K. Laid off in July.

I worked for the same company for just shy of 15 years and was laid off in August with an inadequate severance package. I am my sole source of income. I have been applying for every position for which I qualify that is within a reasonable commuting distance from my home. I have also registered with 3 recruiting firms. I have been contacted only twice for a serious interview and neither of those came from the recruiters. Because it's an employer's market and there are so many people out of work, companies are expecting to hire people in my field with a 4 year degree and 10+ years experience for $30-35k! I have more than enough experience but not the degree and that salary doesn't even cover my financial obligations!

Now I find out that our wonderful Congress did not pass an extension of unemployment benefits!!! I guess none of those jerks have loved ones who are out of work. Something has GOT to give pretty soon or we're all going to be living on the streets!!!

I am interested in finding a job. I have been searching for jobs for almost 2 years and still I have not received any responses. I have bee evicted from my apartment due to the fact that I am not earning enough money. I have not been able to find another apartment due to the fact that I am not earning 2 to 3 times the rent.

What am I suppose to do? I have 3 grandsons ages 7,8 @ 10. We need a home. I need a job. What is the problem?

commercial vechicle. I'm having to get some education & learn modern technology.

Trying to re-educate a old brain & starting into new line of employment has been

quite trying.

Yes, it all seems like a bad dream!

I'm willing to cut my salary, which has now been reduced by 45%.

But the skill set requirements are really getting ridiculous! Now employers expect you to do it all, sell, create, implement and then make sure you clean the office up too. Work 24x7, and never, never ask for time-off or you're out!

After job loss due to a company's bankruptcy, age and competition in the job market led to reduced circumstances and depletion of retirement savings. The following 10 years were very depressing. Having taken whatever "survival jobs" I could get has seriously damaged my chances of finding full-time work in most companies. Although I have followed the advice to prepare a functional resume and "rebrand" myself, the requirements to apply for desirable jobs foils this strategy by forcing the applicant into a box with little or no flexibility. How can I circumvent this before I become a "bag lady"?

Problem is there are no jobs, and the jobs that are available are on a temp basis. The salary offered is offending for some one in the field for over 25 years, and with each job (I have worked for four different company's in the last 25 years), the benefits offered are getting worse, and the office atmosphere is ridiculous. The last company I worked at we were told on a weekly basis we should be thankful we have a job with the economy the way it is. I know for a fact that the last company I worked for made more money this year than in the last ten years. (very large insurer).

The job required at least 15 years expierience, and the salary offered was $15.00 an hour. We were required to manualy enter copay's, deductibles, keep track of out of pocket amounts, keep track of COB savings, manualy enter U and C amounts according to what percentage the contract(s) you worked on required. We could not talk, had to leave signs on our desks to go to the bathroom, break and lunches. If we wanted to walk ten feet to get a cup of coffee, we had to log out of the system.

I am through with Insurance, and coating the pockets of the CEO's and big wigs of the companies.
