I think that BP should have made Tony Hayward's severance pay a little bit lower than 1.7 million, because of his failure to notify everyone when the gulf oil spill happened.

Thoughts??? Get me a garbage can, puke bag, whatever. Ok, so these yo-ho's that put our already unsteady economy into more unstability get/got money that they (in my opinion only) didn't earn or deserve? Let's let the people who helped bankrupt companies in the US live high on the "Fat Hog" while the rest of us can't find a job or one that pays enough to just live week to week on simple means. You know what, I don't care to write anymore b/c I'd wind up writing a book on the stupidity of CEO's & CFO's. I've read many things that have floored me & I have to say this one makes the top 5!

I'll say they should stop wasting taxpayers' money over some business venture which is on the verge of bankruptcy. There's more taxpayers who are needing help right now especially the victims of disaster. Don't they just deserve a big amount of aiding too? Interested in seeing the entire history on the bailout for this horrendous insurance company? http://www.insuranceproviders.com/aig-bailout-timeline/

It's treasonous how government and corporate America have changed the definition of The American Dream from something as beautiful as "struggle and hope" to "lawlessness and despair."

Corporate America controls EVERYTHING with deep roots straight from the criminal mind, leaving the working class STILL uneducated, submissive and duped with as much misinformation as possible while the plan to keep us that way goes unpunished.

We are much to blame because we don't exercise our rights as citizens of the United States of America and STOP patronizing the companies and government officials responsible for perpetuating these "norms" targeted towards us. We continue on with life -the life they allow us to have- as though there is nothing wrong and, sadly, nothing we can do about it. Truly WE are the ones perpetuating our own state of existence, until the time comes where will realize profound an AWESOME SHOW OF FORCE can be when we finally learn to boycott.

It's called severance compensation and/or bonuses. Actually it's probably hush money to keep the 13-screwups from shooting off their pie holes with the truth -

provide they know what the truth is.

I hope they're the first ones assassinated during the revolution that will come if all this !@#$%(unemployment,housing,banks) doesn't start getting better. How can they call themselves Americans after the shenanigans they have wrought.......scum of the Earth !
