Yes, I certainly am aware of the fact that many other countries and corporations contribute to pollution more than the average individual. However, many of us are powerless to change what China and India and some of the other major polluters do. Therefore, some people like to learn what small steps they can take to make their life a little greener, even if the impact is not the equivalent of taking every car off the road in China. You may not subscribe to the belief that every little step counts, but that doesn't mean that there isn't a gratification in knowing that what you do can help, even if it's a teeny tiny minuscule bit.
