The Electrification of Transportation appears to have the potential for the quickest, the most permanent, and the most profound impact with the best ancillary benefits for Human health, Land use, Pollution and Global warming. It is a natural, highly efficient response to the problem of "Peaking World Oil Production". Lets not play by "Big Oil's" rules anymore. Lets break away from those rusty chains of the gas pump and change the way we get around a few times a week!!

Not only is it rejuvenating ( I feel like a kid again!) you'll notice an increased sense of well being, which your body will thank you for. Never mind the savings in your wallet! Did I mention that an Electric Bike or Electric Scooter will pay for itself in 6 months to a year? We own a family run Electric Bike Shop. We are not greedy in our profit margin. We sincerely would like to see America embrace Electric Transportation and experience the freedom of it! Please check out or site www.ElectricBikeShopOnline.com. We would love to be of service to you and your family. We have something for everyone: Beach cruisers for mom, mountain bikes for dad, bmx's for jr, scooters for the young'ns, trikes for grandma and grandpa. We are also offering $100 and $200 certain bikes for local residents. Shipping and Assembly are included in the price! Contact us for more info., and remember "You get what you pay for". Shop Locally and Buy Quality. Think twice before supporting the billionaire walton children (Walmart). They're customer service is non-existent after you make that purchase and you have to assemble it yourself. Never mind warranty work. Thanks for looking and have a great day!

I think this article points out simple ways that most people can make changes in their everyday life to lessen our impact on the environment. Clearly we live different lifestyles and things that work for one person might not work for the next. If you are looking for even more ways to reduce your carbon footprint, I found more great tips at http://www.destroydebt.com/articles/76-ways-to-save-money-while-saving-the-environment.html. Thanks for the good info!

Some great ideas in the article, although I think vodka might be more expensive to use vodka than a cleanser--and I'd hate to waste the vodka!! On that note, scary to think about what it does to our bodies...

:-)

For another idea on how to go green and make money at the same time, try http://www.Listasaurus.com. It's kind of like craiglist, except they pay you just to list your classified and auction ads on their site. So you can sell or give your stuff away (and keep it out of the landfill) and make a few bucks in the process--even if you don't sell your item.

It's also kind of cool that you can include a video in your ad there.

Anyway thanks again for a great article!

The author of this article is adept at arguing with herself, but I think she would be better served if she made sure her tires were inflated--like our economy will be after all the bailouts & interest rate cuts coupled with the falling dollar--instead of having her tires "blown up".

At least several of her other arguments with herself are very revealing of an out of touch with everyday folks realities understanding of how the rest of us live.
