We, as a collective society, MUST recycle more than just our ipod shuffles, we MUST get in the habit of recycling everything. We must recycle to save our animals! We must recycle to save our Earth! We must recycle to reduce our carbon footprint! We must recycle to help those less fortunate than ourselves. Love one another! Love the trees! Love our planet!

If your iPod (or other music player) is still fully functional use it as an emergency backup drive. Shuffles can hold a few scans of important documents and text files with important data (insurance information, vehicle VINs, family phone numbers, etc.). Encryption is easily added with free software. Bigger iPods like the classic could also hold family photos and videos.

Just keep the iPod in a convenient place or off-site in case of disaster.

Many communities in the Twin Cities metro area also offer "clean-up events" where electronics are often collected, along with those old tires, mattresses, and appliances. Call your local City Hall to find out more information.

I couldn't believe it, I was online this morning at a blog from http://www.vstinternetsolutions.com and I had read about this new shuffle.

Its hard to believe it lacks almost all buttons, but it will talk to you. In terms of available Accessories for this new iPod, only time will tell. It might prove a bit discomforting with the standard 'hard' earphones that come stock with most iPods.

Either Way, I am extremely excited about this new design of the shuffle, and It will be arriving very soon!

this article is ridiculous. in today's economy, i doubt there's going to be a serious problem of people throwing away perfectly good electronics.
