Global warming is a know fact by all of us. lets all put our sincere effort and save our planet earth for our better tomorrow.I sincerely request each and everyone to plant atleast one tree on global day i.e.28th march 2009. tommorow's climate is in our hand. unless we save our earth today, tomorrow we all will be perished in flame. I have been asked to say the truth when is best, and to not lie when it is easy. In this debate there is not a lot of truth to what one side says is and the other says is not, because there is truth to both sides. I do not believe that global warming is all that real when people drive their SUV to the corner, in my opinion that is stupid. Personally, I would feel stupid if somebody called me on that too, along with living at my parent's house, or if they wanted to no date on Saturday last. I hate to bring to light the other side of my argument because it is like they haven't grown up, sounds like they have a pot smoking problem, and probably have a problem with which there is little option but to stare it in the face.

Personally, the argument would benefit if someone clearly took a side, journalist or other would not lose any ground they had previous-----either to agree or have a totally different outlook. In fact, what is their outlook? If they have one, they should share it, own it, etc.

Since world wide temps have been falling for the past 3 years - it's good they're changing the label on the bottle of snake oil to "Climate Change"... nice marketing.

A bit of advice... fear the return of the ice - it's the real killer of the planet and civilization.

The science is not settled.

If you like math and haven't drank the coolaid.

My own belief is that while global warming may be real, it is so highly politicized the science is not represented by the 'alleged' solutions. The warming of the earth and the effects are exaggerated both by governments and favorite like minded scientists who are rewarded with large research grants by the same governments. The governments of the world are using the scientists as a mechanism for subjugation. With the intent to make people as poor and reliant on government as possible.

Wake up before it's too late. The real tipping point is political. When is the last time any of us saw any government reverse a decision to collect money? When is the last time a government returned a freedom voluntarily?

Consider the effects of carbon dioxide capture and sequestration on the earth's 6.9 billion inhabitants. Carbon dioxide capture and sequestration, supposedly to combat climate change (formerly global warming) is in reality an evil plan by advocates of one world government to control global population through starvation by reducing production of food crops. Sixth grade science classes teach the atmospheric cycle and the effect of lower carbon dioxide concentration on plant growth. Al Gore is correct in calling this a moral issue. Intentional starvation of billions of people is the most important issue of modern times. If the prospects of this plan succeeding were not so frightening, the individuals and organizations, especially religious organizations, supporting this despicable hoax would be laughable.

Hi

I am very much interested in saving over environment.

I am working on it from last 4 to 5 years.

Luckily I found one solution for global warming.

I designed equipment (global heat sink) which can solve this problem to some extent.

It is simple and effective.

The cost of making it is also very low.

I will be glad to discuss regarding it .

I need your help in implementing this project.

Hope we both together can find a good solution for this problem of global warming.

Climate, by its very nature, CHANGES. And we have very little to do with those changes. Believing we are responsible for changes on the Earth's climate is as ridiculous as thinking that we are responsible for changes in the climate of Mars, which is also changing.

More and more scientists and thinking people all over the world are realizing that man-made global warming is a hoax that threatens our future and the future of our children. The over 700 dissenting international scientists that just met in New York are now more than 13 times the number of UN scientists (52) who authored the media-hyped IPCC 2007 Summary for Policymakers. http://epw.senate.gov/public/index.cfm?FuseAction=Minority.Blogs&ContentRecord_id=595F6F41-802A-23AD-4BC4-B364B623ADA3

Additionally, 32,000 American scientists have signed onto a petition that states, "There is no convincing scientific evidence that human release of carbon dioxide, methane, or other greenhouse gases is causing or will, in the foreseeable future, cause catastrophic heating of the Earth’s atmosphere and disruption of the Earth’s climate…" http://www.petitionproject.org/index.html

"Progressive" (communist) politicians like Obama seem determined to force us to swallow the man-made global warming scam. We need to defend ourselves from the UN and these politicians, who threaten our future and the future of our children. Based on a lie, they have already wasted billions and plan to increase taxes, limit development, and enslave us.

If not stopped, the global warming scam will enrich the scammers (Gore and Obama’s Wall Street friends), increase the power of the U.N. and communists like Obama, and multiply poverty and servitude for the rest of us.

I am not completely convinced CO2 has anything to do with Global Warming. That notwithstanding, I am certain that reducing our reliance on fossil fuels is both a good idea and necessary, for a large number of obvious reasons.

The good news is that we can all make a difference. It goes way beyond buying a few (polluting) low energy light bulbs, and will have a real impact if even half of those concerned about Global Warming follow the proposals. The beauty is that even if only half do this, it makes no difference what the rest do! Renewable energy will become cheaper than fossil fuels with enough investment in the technology, and everyone will move over naturally!

Firstly, buy renewable energy.

As far as I am aware, you have the choice to buy renewable electricity in all developed countries. If you cannot now, you should campaign for that inalienable right immediately. Currently our own household buys 25% of our electricity as renewable, costing us about US$33 extra per year. 100% would cost US$183)*.

Some argue that if millions of householders (and industries, I would hope) buy renewable energy, there will not be enough. If you do not buy it, there will NEVER be enough. If you do, the money will be used to INVEST in infrastructure for future renewable energy, so making the expense just as effective.

Merely by choosing to buy this, you are immediately and directly investing in the renewable energy industry, and sending a powerful and undeniable message to those who matter, the people who actually generate electricity, not environmentalists or politicians who may have different agenda.

Secondly, stop investing in 'Big Oil' and 'Big Coal'.

It comes as a shock to many ordinary citizens to be told that the huge greedy corporations actually make money for THEM, not for some faceless consortium. Sure, corporate flunkies may make millions of dollars, but WE, as investors, make billions, and even trillions. Their huge payouts and massive junkets are insignificant compared to the profits the companies make for their investors.

You may well think that you do not invest in these companies, but if you have a pension or investment fund, you almost certainly do. These funds will, quite obviously, be invested in the very companies that make the most profits and returns for their investors. All these corporations are doing is actually acting effectively YOUR instruction, ie to get the best possible return. If WE stop investing in them, they fail, and will be forced to change their practices to survive in a capitalist environment.

The answer is to choose ethical investments (there may be different names). Talk to your financial adviser and make the switch now. ONLY YOU control your investments. Make the choice and stop letting others do it for you.

You control the future, not governments or environmentalists.

The message is that YOU control the future of energy production with your wallets.
