U.S. NEWS & WORLD REPORT
WASHINGTON, DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA

Dear SIR/MADAM,

I know that this letter may come to you as a surprise, I got your contact address from the computerized search. My name is Ms Maura Judkis. I am the Blogger, (senior) producer of U.S. News & World Report.

In my department I discovered an abandoned sum of eighteen million three hundred thousand United State of American dollars ($18.3MILLION U.S.A DOLLARS) in an account that belongs to one of our foreign customer. I have also in my department made the discovery that spam mail wastes enough energy to power 2.4 million homes each year.

According to a study by McAfee, the electricity needed to process a single spam message results in the release of 0.3 grams of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere — the equivalent of driving 3 feet in a car. Almost 80 percent of spam's greenhouse emissions come from the energy that PCs consume while users are viewing, deleting, or sifting through spam looking for legitimate messages. This certainly adds up, because over 97 percent of all emails are unwanted (though the study found that personal e-mail emits slightly more carbon dioxide, because it contains bigger attachments).

It is therefore upon this discovery that I decided to make this business proposal to you and release the money as donations in your name as follows. I have agreed that 40% of this money will be for carbon offsets to counteract the wasted energy generated by spam, and 65% would be for investing in clean, green technology, after which I shall visit your country for disbursement according to the percentages indicated.

Therefore to enable the immediate transfer of this fund to you as we arranged you will furnished me with a good receiving account details where the money will be transferred, your private telephone and fax number for easy communication.

I will not fail to bring to your notice that this transaction is 100% eco-friendly on both sides as all required arrangement has been made for the transfer. Please I would like you to keep this transaction confidential and as a top secret as you may wish to know that I am a Blogger.

Trusting to hear from you immediately.

Yours Sincerely,
Ms maura Judkis.
